Dr. Oscar Morejon, DMD

Oscar Morejon is gifted as a surgeon and in his chair side manner....never had a doctor in any medical specialty go to the lengths he does to be sure I was an informed consumer on risks, outcomes, potential discomfort, its management etc..both medically and cosmetically..he answers stupid questions very kindly too....he has done implants on me and tons of gum grafting using only Novocain at my request..and he has done and is doing extensive work on my husband...having said that..implants and gum grafting are not fun activities ... most people who need either of these issues have severe dental concerns..many challenging scenarios for periodontists like Oscar....so will there be some discomfort..you betcha BUT the alternative is worse...loss of teeth from bone loss..receding gums...etc...I had our premier cosmetic dentist here in Ormond Beach tell me there was not a more skilled technician probably in the Southeastern US than Dr. Morejon and I believe him..He was not prone to hyperbole.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience with Dr. Oscar Monejon. Will NEVER recommend. I have had nothing but PAIN since I was referred to go to him for a consult. He recommended gum grafting. I like a fool agreed and it FAILED. I have had pain for almost 2 years. I would never recommend this practice to anyone. My experience can never be told in a short review how he treated me after the surgery when I complained how bad I was hurting. For two years the pain has radiated from my gums to my ear. He looked at me once and said 'everytime you come in here you cry'...Yes...I was hurting. Horrible experience.....

Very professional and caring to say the least from start to finish he made sure everything was just right, and I had graphing and implant done. He took his time and explained everything from start to finish,never felt rushed he took as long as he had to I was comfortable the whole time and his surgery and implant procedure came out perfect. Even the dentist that put the tooth in said he did a perfect job. He is without a doubt the best around.his nursing staff is the best I have seen in any doctors office. If I could give you more stars I would. Thank you dr morejon, anyone that does not use you is making a big mistake.

Very satisfied again. I have been going to Dr Morejon for the past 7-8 years driving one hour each way. Had number of implants and other serious surgeries. Every time he did excellEnt work. With almost care an no pain at all. Wry grateful to the person that recommended me to him.

Dr. Morejon is very professional and concerned about his patients .Having painless implants done, he would call in the evening to follow up on your condition. Very highly recommend.

Possibly the best doctor of any type I have ever been to in my 69 years. Went to him after a simple procedure was botched by another periodontist, for an evaluation and second opinion. He spent almost an hour and a half, I think past their closing time, examining, listening, and making recommendations. Although it didn’t involve any “serious” procedures in that visit, I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Morejon is an extremely professional periodontist, with a strong positive personality, and a soft hand, and strong when required!!

Kind, gentle, listened to my concerns about the method of procedure, paid attention to my concerns about medications. He was concerned that no healthy teeth be removed to achieve some arbitrary professional agenda with dubious benefit. I could not get my other dentist to even consider a less catastrophic procedure...why I switched to Dr. Morejon at my husband's suggestion. Dr. Morejon listened. Chairside assistants were wonderful too. The only practice for implant cowards. :)
