I had a great visit. I felt cared for with appointments and education. I had to wait a few months to get my appointment and the office is busy, however once I was with the staff and doctor I understood why they are busy. They take great care of people and it’s worth the wait.

Dr. Johnson clearly puts his patients first. He took time to explain the procedure (gum grafting) and answered my questions simply without confusing jargon and without talking down to me. After the procedure, he checked in to ensure I was recovering well. His whole team was professional, friendly, and most importantly, helpful. I put this off for a long time because the procedure itself sounded unpleasant and, while not a barrel of monkeys, it wasn't nearly as bad as anticipated and the outcome has been outstanding. I'm very happy with the outcome, Dr. Johnson, and Spokane Periodontics and Dental Implants. Would recommend them to anyone having periodontal work done. Thank you for my improved smile.

First, I do not generally lavish praise. Second, I have had my face reconstructed -twice; my jaw reconstructed -thrice; and have had three dental implants. I know a little bit about oral maxillofacial and dental procedures (clumsy in my 30+ year military career :-) I received exceptional care from an affable staff with a compassionate periodontist. Dr. Johnson followed up on me over two holidays and ran the government insurance gauntlet for me to ensure I received extended surgical care. Third, no other OMF/Periodontist in this Spokane area would either NOT accept veterans insurance ("pays less than MEDICAID" was the common complaint) or they would NOT take a disabled Veteran on as a new patient with my head/face/neck trauma history. Fourth, my case was not only complex, but also complicated but the other head and neck injuries. Last, Dr Johnson made me feel most welcome and confident in his care. Bravo Zulu!

Dr. Johnson is amazing, his standards are high and his patient care is excellent. He did lots of work on me and I could not be more pleased with all of it. His staff is excellent as well, I highly recommend him.

I have perio disease. Guess I have had it for some time and didn't know until the later part of my life, after I was referred here. Dr. Johnson and the assistant who worked with me explained the condition well. I had to have some deep cleanings with a hygienist to help my pocketing. The insurance process was easy to work with thanks to the office girls for being the middle man. They submitted the claims for me and dealt with the insurance when there was an issue. Made my experience with them more enjoyable and less stressful. Id say they are a pretty friendly office and try to make the whole process a little better than what you would be expecting.

This man is the BEST perio Dr. EVER!!!! he goes above and beyond for his patients! I’ve never had ANY dr go out of his way to help someone in escrutiating pain! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him!!!

Had a wonderful experience with Dr. Johnson for the removal of my wisdom teeth this spring. He and his staff were very welcoming upon arrival and were very thorough in the explanation of the procedure. I was well informed of what I could expect post op, and he answered all of my questions. I had three wisdom teeth pulled and had ZERO swelling with minimal pain post op. I would highly recommend him for any dental procedure!
