Dr. Nancy Schumann, DDS

Dr. Schumann did not guarantee her work. Less than a year after she installed a crown for me, a chunk of the porcelain chipped off. When I called to ask if the work was under warranty, I was informed the crown itself was warrantied by the manufacturer, but if I came into the office for follow-up, Dr. Schumann would charge me for x-rays to send to the manufacturer. Another time when I questioned some work that was performed, I was charged for the follow-up examination. The charge was removed after I complained. So if you do not like the work that was performed, be prepared to pay to have it corrected.

This dentist is rude and abrupt. I went in for a cleaning following years of 6 months cleaning and dental visits with different practices. She made recommendations that would cost me out of pocket expenses, that no other dentist has ever mentioned. It was rushed, and I was a new patient. I was completely overwhelmed> my teeth were not even cleaned. It was as if she and her group had a protocol to follow that would lead me down a path of dental procedures that I do not event need and financial burden.

I started at Dr Nancy Schumann with my kids. Her hygienist was kind but Nancy was very rude and demeaning towards me, the parent, about the state of their teeth. I thought it was a “scared straight” tactic to get my kids to care for their own teeth. I also noted a pretty shocking tremor in her hand at that appt. I went for my own appointment today and it turns out she just has horrible “chairside” manner. I had made a new patient appt for a cleaning. I knew I’d need “the X-rays that she wants to use that are better” 18 images later, I’m gagging, on the verge of vomiting. I asked when the cleaning was going to happen twice, only to be told I would only have a cleaning If the doctor didn’t find any major issues. The final straw was when Dr. Schumann finally put her hands in my mouth herself. She has a bad tremor in her hands. Her hand was repeatedly pushing into the skin around my mouth in an abnormal way. I decided that I wouldn’t ever allow her to work on my teeth.

The staff is very professional. Dr. Schumann is one of the best dentists I have ever seen. She came highly recommended by my Endodontist. I am thrilled with her work. Dr. Schumann saved my one tooth and did an excellent job with the rest of my dental work.

Very rude

Dr. Schumann continued providing excellent dental care for me - even during this COVID-19 pandemic. Her practice exercised COVID-19 prevention measures - masks, shields, additional dental chair ventilation system etc. I felt safe in her care. Staff was efficient - friendly - and flexibility in accommodating changes in my appointment dates.

I definitely would NOT recommend Dr. Schumann. She was extremely unprofessional and abruptly rude! Awful bedside manner...As a professional in the community for many years, I don’t believe I have ever encountered another medical professional quite as arrogant and verbally abrasive as Nancy Schumann. I will not be returning and will encourage others to find a more professional dentist- one who is focused on patient care.

Untrustworthy business who is just into making money and reaching in your wallet.

We left beause we were tired of the rudeness from her. We finally had enough and found a new dentist. After visiting our new dentist we found out her work is terrible and has caused more problems. I had to have 6 teeth fixed because she either left part of the silver filling in when she added the white filling or she didn't connect the filling to the tooth all the way and decay started. My husband had similar issues plus one toothshe didn't harden a filling and caused more decay in the tooth.

I love the staff and Dr. Nancy Schumann... I always feel very comfortable and know I’m getting excellent care. All employees treat me with respect and are helpful in scheduling, billing and explaining everything.

Wow, I am SO IMPRESSED with Dr Nancy's practice in every aspect. She is incredible at what she does and will happily do what it takes to make you comfortable. Her staff are all awesome and also great at what they do. The facilities - can I just say I've never been in such a beautiful and cozy dentist's office? It's lovely and comfortable inside and you know love went into making the space. She also has a lot of cool gadgets, not to mention a massage chair for procedures! All around amazing.

I've always had a great experience at Dr Nancy Schumanns office. She gives a thorough exam and is great at explaining any treatment that is needed. Her knowledge and expertise makes my visit a pleasant experience. Her staff is both friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend her.

I personally disagree with the other review left on here. Dr. Schumann and all of her staff are extremely friendly. I've been a patient with her office for a little over a year now and have had no problems. The hygienists always do a wonderful job with my cleanings and Dr. Schumann always explains in detail, what work she suggests should be done. I've never felt pushed to spend more money than I needed to, they try to save me money wherever they can.

Schumann was very rude. Her focus is to get you to spend as much money as possible on treatments and procedures that you do not need. The cleaning takes 30 mins and the remaining 30 mins is for her and the hygienist to tell you all the things you need to do but don't need. My last experience is her recommendation of a crown, which I questioned. She scolded me for questioning. I went to another dentist and the dentist fixed it w/o a crown and said that a crown is too drastic. Never go there.
