Dr. Mitchell Knudsen, DDS

We loved Dr K and staff. So much that when our insurance changed I opted to pay out of pocket to stay. Had pain in lower right far back molar for several years. Jaw pain, tooth pain. Made a special trip several times for it. He said tooth was fine. X-rays showed nothing. Recently had annual exam, same story. Definitely NOT the tooth. Maybe autoimmune condition causing pain. Went to endodontist several weeks later. 'I don't know how your dentist missed this. The tooth is horribly infected, see these abscesses on the X-ray? It's very obvious'. Could also see the abscess on the gum that I repeatedly tried to show Dr K, that he could not see. The specialist said the tooth is so badly infected that if that bump on the gum doesn't go away I will have to have the tooth pulled despite the root canal I just paid for. No apology or phone call from Dr. K. His receptionist just said, 'I know that's disappointing.' That deserved a r of some kind. Our entire family is changing dentists.
