Dr. Mikhail Berdichevsky, DDS

This office has rude personnel and outdated equipment. Dr.Berdichevsky was my doctor for a few years and was always shaming and blaming me for my extra sensitive teeth.I was dreading dentist visits for for all these years.Couple of years ago he made a crown on my front tooth and it is still hurting. He told me few times that it is my fault. The job was done good and it id hurts. I need to take va lium.Yesterday I came for a tooth cleaning. De Berdichevsky found a little cavity on my front tooth and refused to give me anesthesia. He want to drill my sensitive tooth that hurst without anesthesia. When I asked him again he told me that I need to take calming pills before visiting dentist. He did not complete my cleaning and told me to leave. I am filing the complaint with Dental Board.Don't to to this person. He is not a doctor, he enjoys hurting and humiliating people very much. I never had such a terrible dentist experience my entire life.

The doctor was rushed and brusque. He was very tough when examining my teeth, refused additional numbing when I asked for it so the procedure (emergency extraction) was unnecessarily painful. I've had many dentists & orthodontists in my 50+ years, in multiple cities and States, involving both simple & complex treatments. Even UCSF and Univ of the Pacific student dentists were better. I urge you to avoid this dental practice.

I went in for a general check up and cleaning. After 40+ minutes of the front desk being confused and a mess, Dr. Berdichevsky finally saw me. He didn’t look at me, say hi, introduce himself, or ask about my oral health. He spent 5 minutes tapping my teeth and roughly scraping and spraying my mouth and my face with water, and 30 seconds sweeping my teeth with the tooth brush before saying he was done and that I could go. I waited for the receptionist to check out until Dr. Berdichevsky saw me waiting and told me to leave.

Dr. Berdichevsky is a great dentist. I first went to his office in 2010, I was in pain he took me in the same day I called. He is very blunt and caring at the same time. He always calls and checks on you personally after any crowns or root canals he performed. Most dentists won't bother to see you if you have a dental emergency. I am a satisfied patient. 5 stars to Dr. Berdichevsky and his staff. Thanks again for taking me in on the short notice.

Dr. Berdichevsky would chide you for not maintaining your oral healthcare. The fake people don't like it. Fees are always within reason. Never rips off the customer. Good man. You'd be lucky to be his patient. A slightly older strong man speaks with a little Russian accent. Nice guy. Ive been seeing him for the past 12 years. Believe me he'd get mad but for your own good. You don't want a smiling dentist who overcharges you for tens of thousands. He is not that type. I had been ripped off by other dentists for cleaning and stupid treatments that killed the health of my enamel. Dr. Berdichevsky saw its sad state and did extensive procedures to restore dental health. I have had a few caps and a bridge. He covered all the fillings. Since then Ive only had cleanings and gum treatment only. His treatment is comprehensive and thorough.

Rude, unprofessional. Rushes his work and leaves you uneasy and questioning the quality of care you've received. I remained seated after my procedure because I had a question about after care and all he cared about was getting me out of the chair so is next paitient could sit down. If you indicate any pain he will say something along the lines of "you can leave if you want". The man uses no deodorant and when you have someone leaning over you for an hour and have to breathe through your nose it is a very unpleasant experience. I will never see this DDS again.

Easy to get into his office schedule in a pinch + open on weekends, some evenings.. However, ALL work - RUSHED. Crown work - POOR; cleaning, fillings - FINE. My first crown with him was painful & ill fitting for 2 months after work completion. It had to be redone after my gums swelled and receded from irritation. I paid ANOTHER dentist, whose workmanship resulted in a painless and well-fitting crown. My 2 previous crowns from ANOTHER dentist have been in for 25 and 18 years, respectively.

This is my history with this doctor: Very rude, not professional, competent, had dental student do my crown. Poor work on crown, left a gap so that it is hard to clean, not gum infected. In less than 5 years, had to have a redo of the crown. My crown on the other side of my mouth by another dentist has been good for over 20 years, no problem.

Dr Berdichevsky is a no nonsense , get the job done kind of a dentist . I am not good with pain or dentists , but he and his co workers have won me over . They do a great job , and their work Has always been very good . He will stand by what he does , and re do it if necessary for no cost. I have been going there for many years now and really appreciate Dr B and his staff
