Dr. Michael Sinkin, DDS

For the past 6 years, I’ve gone through quite the journey. Having radiation for tongue cancer wreaked havoc on my teeth. Eventually I lost most of my teeth and the rest had to be extracted. Dr. Sinkin developed a plan to put implants in. It was a long time to implement since we weren’t sure the implants would take. Fortunately they did and the long process began. Fast forward to now and it’s come to fruition.Dr. Sinkin and his wonderful staff (especially Carmen) was with me through all my fears and tears, and believe me, there were a lot! Whenever there was a difficult procedure, I always received a phone call to make sure I was okay. I was frightened one time on the weekend and I called Dr. Sinkin. He explained what was going on in a calm and clear manner and eased my anxiety. My deepest gratitude to an awesome doctor and friend.

I have been going to Dr. Sinkin for so many years I can’t count. He is smart, caring, and an excellent dentist despite me having fears of dental work all my life. The staff he surrounds himself with are also excellent and experienced. While I approach my routine appointments with trepidation, Dr. Sinkin and his staff always make me feel at home. My happier result- a healthier mouth.

So, Dr. Sinkin has yet, “done it again”. A week ago, Dr. Sinkin pulled two of my teeth. As I was on my train from New Jersey to New York, all I could think about were the needles I was about to get. It wasn’t that I was afraid of the needles because Dr Sinkin knows exactly where to inject them and his staff member is always right there rubbing your arm to assure, everything is going to be OK. Let’s fast forward. The two teeth were polled and as I was heading home, all I could think about was food and what I was going to eat. Later in the day the Novocain begin to wear off/down and I was waiting to feel a little pain, but there was nothing. Three more hours went by, still no pain, nothing. Around 10 PM, I was washing dishes and tears begin to form in my eyes. It was not because of any pain I was feeling, it was because I was NOT feeling any pain and those were tears of happiness, gratefulness and being pleased with the greatest Dentist God has ever created. Dr. Sinkin = Hall Of Fame!
