NIGHTMARE!
After my brilliant prosthodontist retired, and one of the bridges that keeps my TMJ in check wore out, I came back the Gelb Center, where Harold Gelb and his team had treated my TMJ in the 1980's and 1990's, giving me a pain-free life for nearly 40 years. I paid Lenchner $12,450 for a three-tooth replacement bridge specifically to keep my TMJ in check. Higher than the normal cost, but I assumed (wrongly) that the high fee was because he was a TMJ expert. WRONG.Lenchner's bridge never fit properly. It immediately threw my spine out of alignment, compressing my vagal nerves, creating severe pain and nausea for over a month, despite repeated visits to him for adjustments. Plus, 7 chiropractic visits. My chiropractor said the spine in my neck looked like a corkscrew. After weeks of severe pain, he removed his bridge and glued the old bridge back in. Pain and nausea gone right away. 36 hours after he glued in the old bridge (on a liquid diet), it fell out in my mouth!

I have been a patient of Dr. Lenchner for the past 15 years. Before I met Dr. Lenchner, I had seen, over several years, multiple doctors and dentists for various debilitating symptoms. I was finally diagnosed with TMJ Disorder. I was fitted with 3 different mouth guards by 2 different dentists and I went to physical therapy for over a year. Unfortunately, my symptoms remained. None of the doctors or dentists were able to help me, until I met Dr. Lenchner. He immediately reconstructed me 3 permanent bridges and then constructed a perfectly fitting night mouth guard. With the new bridges and the new mouth guard, I was soon free of all symptoms and have been since then. I felt as if I got my life Back! He later made a day mouth guard for me which I use when necessary. Both mouth guards have helped me tremendously. I will always be grateful to Dr. Lenchner; he is a brilliant prosthodontist and a caring and compassionate human being.

Very difficult for 500 characters--here goes: Dr. Lenchner is probably the best prosthodontist you will ever encounter. A master in his field, the ultimate perfectionist, and a down to earth person. I am having tons of work done (implants, caps, inlays). He is doing all the work, except for the bone graft, screws of the implants, and extractions, which my periodontist is doing. All his work is like a masterpiece! His staff is amazing and friendly. No need to look any further. He's the best!
