Dr. Mia Baker, DMD

My family and I moved to Capalbo in Wickford and were all seen by Dr. Baker, and all of us walked away feeling like she was telling us odd things that our most recent other dentist never mentioned. Something seemed off. Then my teenager had a check up in which he was informed he had multiple cavities. This was 6 months after having a check up in which he supposedly had no cavities at all. She ended up excavating one of these cavities so deep that it killed the nerve and required a root canal and crown (which we went elsewhere to have done). The dentist who reviewed the xrays said the decay must have been significant to have gone so deep (but that seems unlikely considering only 6 months had passed since he had no cavities). He said he also saw a potential issue with one of the other fillings she did as well. Lesson learned, we'll find someone else, but I just wish it wasn't at the expense of ruining one of my kids' teeth (maybe more).
