MOST GENTLE DENTIST
The office staff and Dr Rosenfeld were all so helpful! I am anxious patient and the staff - hygienists and Dr R reviewed all my treatment completely and now I am in the middle of my new beautiful smile! Highly reccommend!

root canal and follow up appointment with Dr.
Dr. recommended that a new bridge was needed after I had a root canal performed through the bridge. She also mentioned that another root canal might be need after she removed the bridge. I was going on vacation and told her to hold off on removing the bridge. I would return after my vacation and asked for a price estimate for the work needed. After receiving an estimate of $5000 plus, I decided to receive a second opinion. I went to the Stony Brook Univ. School of Dental. They reviewed my x-rays and did a thorough evaluation, after which they recommended that the bridge did not need to be replaced. They would removed the temporary filling in the bridge and replace it with a permanent filling. A net savings of over $5000. Dr. Rosenfeld did not present this option. I will not be recommending her.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Rosenfeld for many years. I have never had anything but pleasant experiences whenever I visit her office. I am not a big fan of going to the dentist, but she and her staff are very friendly and professional. If you value your smile, then you may have to deal with a little pain and discomfort. Smile! ??

Horrible experience. Like the last review I'm much worse off than I was before I saw her. I was told I had a small cavity yet she drilled and drilled. Tooth would not stop hurting and I ended up having a root canal that should never have been necessary. She pushes expensive and unnecessary work and is arrogant and condescending if you object. The staff that handles billing takes their cue from the dentist - so rude its hard to believe. I asked a question and she literally shrugged her shoulder at me and didn't bother to answer. Plus they are charging a COVID fee that insurance certainly won't tolerate. Obviously the doctor is very concerned with making money not with her patients' well being. AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!

I was told i needed to get a special X-ray. This X-ray cost 250$ out of pocket. The dentist made it seems as though it was absolutely necessary to have it done, claiming “your going to loose your tooth, this will save it, the root canal dentist will need it. Etc” turns out i went to the root canal doctor and he didn’t even need the $250 X-ray and took his own. After telling the dentist this, she still claimed it was absolutely necessary to have gotten it done. I later go to the office (week later) to have a cavity filled and i think the dentist intentionally did something on purpose. I am in so much pain (didn’t have any pain prior) and my tooth is so sensitive. This dentist sabotaged my tooth. Went to get a second opinion on the cavity that was filled and the new dentist said it was drill way to deep. AVOID THIS OFFICE. Nothing but a money scam. Dentist got offended when i brought up why the X-ray was necessary after even explaining my financial situation. Made my visit very awkward.

Dr. Rosenfeld and the staff there are always welcoming and comforting (I am such a chicken at the dentist!). My family with 3 children have been going there since they were small and my niece, nephew and their families as well. They use lasers when they can so I don't even need a shot and my cleanings feel like I am at a spa. Neat, state of the art, comforting and accommodating. What else could you possibly want?? Have an appointment for Botox next week for my headaches...can't wait!

Be careful if you go to this dental office. I was told by the hygenist that I have serious periodontal disease and that I need treatments that would be at least $1500 to try to help my teeth. I was shocked. I went for a second opinion. I was told by the second dentist and hygenist that there was no sign of periodontal disease at all. Again, be careful if you go to this office.

Super pushy about constant x-rays and using the one toothpaste and type of floss she prefers. I have great, straight teeth, no cavities and was spoken to like my teeth were all falling out. The hygienist tried to convince me I had cavities because "some people consider a stain a cavity" before admitting "you don't have any cavities." One of the receptionists was very disrespectful because I opted out of an x-ray due to family cancer history, as though it personally impacted her. Horrible service
