Dr. Maya Paulose, DMD

Dr. Paulose is a non-nonsense style dentist. Mary Jane, RDH, just joined De. Paulose's team and Mary Jane is a excellent hygienist.

Wonderful dental experience for the family. She provided braces that helped my son smile! While others wanted to pull out some teeth - she was able to do it without any extractions.

Best Family dentist I have ever had. Saved my Son's teeth from being pulled. Did fillings on baby teeth that other dentists refused to do. Her advice on complicated matters is always for the best treatment plan. Patient First. Will continue to recommend her to everyone.

I visited her in 2017 and she found three cavities that needed filling. I chose not to get the work done at that point. But, when I went back to my regular dentist a half year later, that dentist found nothing. I imagine it's a judgement call which cavities to fill and which to wait on, but 2.5 years later and whatever Dr. Paulose found has still not reached the point of needing intervention with my regular dentist. Also, the xrays forwarded from Dr. Paulose's office were taken on equipment that was older than provided the quality preferred by my regular dentist.

I thought Dr. Paulose's tools and office were evidently very outdated. My dentist at home uses much more updated x-ray and cleaning tools. For example, Dr. Paulose's tools to remove plaque hurts a lot, since the dental hygienist had to physically scrape at my teeth. However, I returned to my dentist at home because their more updated tools were more gentle and did a better job of cleaning.
