Dr. Max Pitel, DMD

I will admit, I come from a city and have lived most of my life in cities in the US and abroad and I have had access to what I consider the best in medical/dental professionals. This dentist is very personable. I can't speak to his competency because frankly he didn't do anything. Three cracked teeth and two failing crowns and he didn't do anything. Every dentist is going to recommend a crown, dentists are not rocket scientists and they all say the same thing. The last dentist to put a filling in these teeth told me a crown would be best but he also proceeded in my best interest and when I asked that the tooth be filled, he filled it. And 18 years later (after I fell off a horse) turns out that last dentist was correct, the filling did not last forever. And I do understand that most dentists receive far better reimbursement for crowns and it guarantees repeat visits. I do understand that in most cases insurance dictates and that many medical/dental professions are able to hide

I've been going to him for a few years. He's been exceptional with everything from explainong procedures to providing options. I would not recommend anyone else

Dr Pitel is always friendly and forthcoming about procedures and care. Will work yo find best solution for patient and not necessarily the most expensive option.
