First appt at this office, Dr explained everything he was doing and we made a treatment plan. Staff all very helpful

Not only is Dr Detar a wonderful endodontist, he and his staff are caring, concerned and professional health providers. After a root canal, Dr Detar called me to see how I was doing. I have many allergies and the excellent care I received didn't cause any problems at all.

I've had an ongoing issue with a tooth infection and Dr. Detar has been wonderful! Very professional and very caring. One of the best around!

I was grateful I was able to get an emergency appointment. I had to wait longer than I wanted to after my appointment time (unbearable pain, sleepy & hungry lol) but Dr. Datar and Martha were worth it. The ladies in the office were kind, informative and took care of me for an appointment with my primary dentist and my follow ups. Also, Dr Datar has great ‘bedside manners’ and sense of humor. I’m level 10 on dental fears but their office will help alleviate that in a welcoming and understanding setting.

Dr detar and his staff were welcoming and friendly. I felt Dr Detar was thorough and honest. My dentist diagnosed me with bone loss and wanted to pull my tooth. I chose to get an 2nd and 3rd opinion. I am so glad I did as my dentist was not accurate. Dr detar saved me money and pain and suffering! Thanks doctor!

Dr. Detar persevered expeditiously to a resolution of my excruciating pains and swelling. The appointment was scheduled immediately when another doctor called. Very confidently reviewed everything and took the necessary steps. Everyone that worked along side of Dr. Ditar was proficient in all they did. Forever thankful.

This endodontic practice is unique in my experience, and I have had a LOT of dental procedures over many years. Dr. Detar makes a root canal so much less traumatic by explaining what he is doing and checking in very frequently with his patient to ask if they are doing okay. He has a great sense of humor and communicates clearly in plain English. He is incredibly respectful to the staff, as if they are all his family. No surprise, the staff is kind, cheerful, and helpful. I drive 45 minutes to this office and would happily drive twice that far if I had to!

Dr. Detar is a down to earth and personable individual who happens to be an "excellent dental professional". His expertise in Endodontic dentistry is/was exceptional throughout the time I had to see him. After my initial procedure, he gave me his cell phone # to call at anytime IF I had issues beyond the normal post procedure symptoms. Never would I expect this type of personal sacrifice beyond "if you have an issue, call the after hours #". To sum up his attributes is the extent of the explanation, answering of questions, and walking you through the very detailed 3-D scans he excels in. In short, he made me feel like "my time was his time". Like some of the other reviews posted, he takes the "fear & scare" out of having a complex procedure done !! In closing, he pointed out another potential future issue with another tooth but agreed with me that "if it wasn't broken don't fix it". My point- I am re-locating out of state and should there be an issue, I would travel back to have

Manassas Endodontics has set the bar for which all medical professionals should strive for. I have never had the level of personal care from a dental practice, or for that matter, any medical group, which I received from Manassas Endodontics. Let's start with the front desk and administrative staff.....professional, friendly, engaging and caring. They make you feel like family. But the star of the practice is Dr. Detar. He is by far the best dentist I have ever encountered. As you all know, dental visits are not pleasant. I first visited the practice because I had pain in the right side of my mouth. It was difficult to figure out which tooth was giving me a problem, as the entire right side was throbbing. He did multiple tests, consisting of cold treatments and tapping on each tooth to determine the problem tooth. Dr. Detar is simply THE BEST!!! I have severe dental phobias but he is amazing! He even numbs your gums before he gives you the shots! I didn't even have pain following either visit!!! And how often do doctors call to check on you anymore, but Dr. Detar does!!! I can't recommend highly enough!!!
