Dr. Martin Janower, DDS

I was referred to Dr Janower in 2005 by my brother-in-law. I was leaving a dentist who had been treating me for the previous few decades but was doing more and more work on me with each visit, & I showed up one day for my work & he had closed the office, no notice even to staff, literally overnight. Took my records to Dr Janower, he asked if he might do his own x-rays at no cost to me, that he wanted to compare them with the ones I had. He did, upon comparison of the two, it was found that the 6 fillings I was told I needed by the previous dentist were not actually needed, in fact there was nothing wrong with my teeth. Now, nearly 25 years later, I can say that he has performed 2 fillings on me in that timeframe, one of which was a replacement for a filling that I had broken, done yesterday 9-18-24. He is a very honest dentist & definitely doesn't drill & bill. Exceptional work, his daughter is in partnership with him & is phenomenal as well. Fantastic family office! Love them!!

I will not let anyone touch my hair, let alone my teeth, I have been going to see Dr. Janower since I was around 10 years old. I trust this dentist fully. I will NOT allow anyone else to touch my teeth!

First off, the dentists and staff are very nice. However, they are very overpriced and do work that isn't necessary (told by another dentist.) This dentist was recommended. Unfortunately they were out of our dental network and made us come back for multiple visits. For 6 visits: 1 x-ray and a pulled tooth, 3 cleanings with 8 total x-rays, and 4 fillings our insurance was billed over $1750. Our copay was just under half. I cancelled the 2 other appts to have 2 more fillings and the sealant done.
