Dr. Mark Tallis, DDS

My husband and myself have been patients of Dr. Tallis' for many years. He and his office staff have always been very friendly, courteous and professional. We have both required some procedures: crowns, veneers, whitening, etc. and Dr. Tallis has always been extremely fair in his dental costs. I also really like that Dr. Tallis personally cleans our teeth. I would definitely recommend Dr. Tallis.

My first contact with Dr. Tallis was nearly 20 years ago when my 92 year old mother needed new dentures. I selected him because his office was very near where she lived. I found the service and attention to her was wonderful and the patience and understanding by his entire staff was exceptional. The results were great, and since I had just retired and moved back to Baton Rouge I then decided to use Dr. Tallis as my dentist. I have been very pleased and would highly recommend him to anyone.

I was terrified of the dentist because I had an unpleasant experience as a child. Dr. Tallis listened to my fears and reassured me. Even though he had given reassurance, he did not realize the true fear that I had until he had to do more than just clean my teeth. He saw the fear on my face and in my body language and asked if I would like to reschedule so that he could sedate me prior to the procedure. I was able to calm down and he was able to do the procedure. He was is very patent and kind.

I have been going to Dr Tallis for 20 years. Excellent dentist, he and his staff are always friendly and professional. Also great with kids. I have recommended several friends and coworkers to him as well

Dr. Mark Tallis has been our family dentist since he started his practice in Baton Rouge many years ago. We have always found him to be proficient not only in the technical aspects of his profession, but compassionate and understanding as well. His staff is also helpful, courteous and efficient. Waiting times for an appointment are never long. We have referred friends to Dr. Tallis and they have shared our opinions of his manner, professionalism and quality of work.

Dr. Tallis is very thorough in explaining what procedures he is going to perform. Always answers questions and says to call with issues. My insurance covered a metal crown that I had to have done. Dr Tallis waived the extra charge to make me a porcelain one. He doesn’t fish to see what he can do to make money. Concentrates on his patients and what they are having problems with. Definitely recommend.
