Dr. Manjula Muniyappa, DDS

I would definitely recommend this dentist. She does not rush through appointments- and she tells the truth! Another dentist told me I needed a deep cleaning after covid, because I had not been to the dentist in a year. This dentist said, not at all, you just need a really good cleaning. Which she proceeded to do right then. The other dentist recommended I should redo one of my fillings, and get a crown on that tooth. Again, this dentist said, “why, your filling is fine; if it comes out, we will put another filling in- we don’t want to grind away more of your original tooth if we don’t need to.” Oh my gosh! She just saved me $800 (with insurance!). Her office is far away from us, but now I know why all of our close friends drive all the way over to see her. She does some cosmetic dentistry as well and she does a great job with bonding to fix the shape of teeth- so much cheaper than veneers. It is not the most beautiful office, but it is very clean. And will save you $.

I have been using her service since 2000. Dr. Muniyappa at Sunshine dental office is the best dentist.

All of us (family of 4) go to Dr. Muniyappa for the past 10 years or so. She is one of the most honest and capable dentists we have seeb (been to other general as well pediatric dentists in the past). She has never recommended extra treatments than necessary and she has never forced us to get anything done (this is very important for me. She spends good amount of time on each of us. If you are looking for a dentist who cares for patients, honest & skilled, I'd highly recommend Dr. Muniyappa.
