Dr. Mandeep Vermani, DDS

They took my Medicare card but did not tell me they didn't accept it! My supplemental insurance is for Medicare. I got a $1700 billing! My supplemental insurance will only pay for doctor visits. The devices also scraped the enamel and I had to have fillings on front teeth.

A few years ago I was having excruciating ear pain and bad headaches. I went to several doctors and my ENT recommended that I see Dr. Vermani. I made an appointment with her and after a thorough examination, they took impressions and had a nighttime appliance made for me. Dr. Vermani and her staff have always been friendly and most importantly very knowledgeable. I feel that, even though they have many patients, they are totally focused on me and my issues during my appointments. I still go in periodically to have my appliance checked. Many dental professionals claim to be knowledgeable about TMJ issues, however many fall short. Dr. Vermani is the ultimate specialist and she is my hero.

Dr. Vermani was recommended by my dentist 2 years ago. At that time I could not open my mouth far enough to have my teeth cleaned. Dr. Vermani assessed my problem, developed a treatment plan and because of her insightfulness and vast knowledge of TMJ, I am able to open my mouth without pain. ,

After visits to other doctors suggesting I live with jaw pain until it becomes unendurable or surgery having my mouth wired shut for 6 months I found Arizona TMJ. Dr Vermani suggested a treatment that totally eliminated my pain over a period of weeks. I can now eat without pain. She even noticed a dermatology problem that my dermatologist fixed. She is very friendly, listens to your problems and is very knowledgeable. The only problem is she has lots of patients and in order to spend the time that is needed with them there is often a long wait in the reception area.

I first went to Dr Vermani because I could not open my mouth due to serious TMJ and neck problems. Not only has Dr Vermani made a huge difference with my TMJ problems, she has addressed other medical issues associated with it. I highly recommend her! She is compassionate, caring, she listens and she has deep knowledge of jaw, head, and neck issues. She is not one to throw medication at you without reason and that is something I really appreciate.

Dr. Vermani actually cares about her patients. She's caring and kind. She has helped me bring down my pain from unbelievably painful TMJ to tolerable and still getting better. Her staff is also very friendly. The 2 receptionist are very helpful.

I saw Dr. Vermani the first time I went in. The second time, I sat in the chair for two hours and she never came in. The splint didn't fit and her tech didn't know how to adjust it . The 3rd time I went in, I waited in the waiting room for 45 minutes, and then walked out.

Dr. Vermani was the first tmj specialist I found that was about the care, not about the money. Her treatment plan was thorough, yet conservative. Only after all else failed, did she recommend surgery. She was patient and understanding while I wrapped my head around the idea. Arthroscopic surgery was performed in Feb, 2017. I returned to her to continue the post op therapy. It was a long journey, but with her skill & partnership, I am pain free and eating like normal! I am so grateful!

My doctor thought I had TN, my TMJ pain was so bad. A friend referred me to Dr. Vermani and her staff was able to get me an appointment that very same day! She has offices in Surprise, Peoria and Tempe. The night and day splints are the best I've ever had. Dr. Vermani is a smart, gifted doctor and listens - and remembers - what her patients tell her. I had intense itching deep in my ear canal for over 10 years. It was misdiagnosed as various skin disorders, but no medication helped. Finally it was suggested that it might be a nerve disorder and I consulted a TMJ specialist. The first doctor were steroid shots and a mouth guard. Having glaucoma, I was unwilling to take the shots, Dr. Vermani was willing to listen and provided me with an alternate treatment plan. My condition is controlled and I highly recommend her.
