Started Invisalign with Hickman orthodontics. Shortly after, I started experiencing painful jaw locking and TMJ. After bringing it to their attention, I felt my issue was dismissed. They wanted to continue treatment as normal. They told me to use ice. Again, I had jaw locking and pain, which was impacting my everyday life. I suggested that Invisalign wasn’t a good fit for me and I asked about transitioning into braces. As far as financing, I had already put down over half of the cost of my Invisalign treatment and I was only treated for a few months. I requested that some, or any, money that I had already paid go to my braces treatment. They refused. They said I would have to pay in full again. They would not work with me. I had no choice but to lose thousands of dollars or continue with the debilitating side effects from Invisalign. With my experience, I feel that they are dismissive and do not care about their patients needs

My son recently finished up his ortho care with Dr. Hickman's office. It's been a very positive experience. Everyone that works there is friendly and helpful. It's a busy office but it is run very efficiently and our appointments have always been on time. His final results look great!

Made the process easy. Consultations were thorough. Billing was explained and they were upfront with costs. Experienced two phases of braces with this provider. Nice touch with offering cookies or slushee after each appointment. Makes the experience something good to remember for children, even though dental work can be tough.

If you enjoy long wait times and rude front office staff then this is the place to go. The office has gone down hill quickly since Dr. Erkis retired. They over charge for an in complete job...

Dr. Hickmans office has a nice atmosphere, there’s never a long wait from your appointment time until you see the doctor, the staff are always pleasant and happy. The work they did on my daughters teeth was wonderful. Everyone was very personable. Dr. Hickman always takes the time to talk about progress and answer questions. Apart from the healthy mouth and teeth benefits, having braces has helped my daughter’s self esteem and her self confidence. I couldn’t have given her a better gift than to feel good about herself and Dr. Hickman and her team have done that.
