Dr. Loryn Merrill, DDS

Office manager is impatient and does not listen.

My daughter just returned from a dental appointment with Dr. Merrill. I literally had to talk her down from a panic attack. She was shaking and crying -- and she's 22 years old!! Dr. Merrill told my daughter that she had a cavity between every tooth and needed to have her wisdom teeth out. She has already had her wisdom teeth extracted by a specialist. The specialist has assured her that she doesn't need the top wisdom teeth out because they are not going to bother anything. And Dr. Merrill's reason for wanting to extract the wisdom teeth out? She had a cavity in it -- and they don't serve any purpose. They're not used to chew. Whatever. Even Dr. Merrill's own hygienist and dental assistant had been in and told my daughter that her teeth and gums looked great! She has seen a dentist every 6 months for her life -- but now, in about 8 months, she has a cavity between every tooth? -- no. She just wanted to hand us a $2500 dental plan. Not gonna happen!

First visit and she was very pleasant and professional.

I had to reschedule an appointment and was told, 5 month. That is unacceptable as an established patient. Now I have to go somewhere else.

Dr. Merrill is very knowledgeable and treats you as if you are a part of the decisions concerning your care.

Dr. Merrill was kind and accurate with my dental care. So glad I am not frightened any longer to get dental treatment done.
