Dr. Linda Newsome, DDS

Dr Newsome is horrible. While doing dental work, Dr. Newsome cut the inside of my lip requiring 4 stitches and severed a nerve causing permanent damage. My lip is numb and I will always have a droopy smile. To make it worse, she made me pay for all the work upfront, then charged the insurance company so got paid double. She refused to refund any money. I had to go to an oral surgeon to see if anything could be done. I was in severe pain with lots of swelling, I had to take time off from work because of the pain. Dr. Newsome never followed up with a call to see how I was doing. The really sad part about this is, Dr Newsome said that my gums were receding and I needed 7 teeth filled because of this. The oral surgeon I saw said that I did not need any of that work done and couldn’t believe that Dr. Newsome would take advantage of someone telling them they needed expensive work done. Please beware and find a different Dentist.

I would stay far away from this place. Went in for a cleaning and they told me I had a bunch of cavities that need to be filled. I have been in pain ever since having half of them filled, so I went to a different dentist that said I do not need any work done on my teeth and likely didn’t need anything done to the ones that were filled. Went in with no pain / sensitivity of any kind and now I’m getting shooting headaches from the fillings they did. I went to an endodontist and he told me that all the fillings “dr” Newsome did were defective restorations, and needed to be redone. She’s a fraud, and so egotistical that she thinks she can’t do anything wrong. She tells me that this endodontist and the dentist that redid my fillings are scamming me. Also not every discoloration of the tooth is a cavity that needs to be filled. You as a “25 years dentist” should know what stains are. Your office should maybe look into upgrading your X-ray machine too because the ones you took are worthless

"Dr." Newsome is the biggest joke of a dentist imaginable, as well as a terrible human being. Avoid getting any work done by her ever.
