Dr. Leonard Strauss, DMD

I was not a patient myself, but my mom was referred to him to get a new full set of teeth. I went with my mom for the consultation since her English isn't that great, and he informed us that the set would last 10+ years with minimal complications. 5 years after the procedure and her teeth have broken 3 times within this time frame. The third time, my mom was visibly upset and Strauss said that these complications are normal.. excuse me?? You told us at the consultation that this wouldn't happen. On top of that, she is expected to pay $300 every time her teeth needs a repair. She paid $60k out of pocket for these teeth with false information, and now has to pay hundreds of dollars for the rest of her life every time something goes wrong. DO NOT TRUST HIM WITH GETTING A NEW SET OF TEETH. My mom tears up every time she thinks about her situation and it pains me to see her so upset, especially since she can't do anything about it now.

I am a bit of a dentaphobe but Dr Strauss is both friendly and professional-- and an absolute 'wizard' in his practice. Care and followup was absolutely firsrate. Recommend without reservation.

Very pleasant experience even during stressful covid -19 !

Clean lovely office, careful about COVID precautions. Thoughtful kind receptionist. Dr Strauss was so careful, smart, thorough and meticulous. He patiently answered all of my questions, reviewed the imaging and made recommendations I was comfortable with. The best dental experience I have had. I am a physician; medically, I felt confident in his decisions and plan.

The only service I really missed during the Covid lock down was my visit to Dr. Strauss's office. They always do a very thorough job, and Pat the hygienist cleans your teeth better than anyone I have ever gone to. The staff is warm and friendly and the office has a great ambiance located in an old HH Richardson train station.

My first visit was a few weeks ago. I didn’t know what to expect and was a little nervous. Well, no need. Dr. Strauss put me at ease and seemed kind and caring. And Pat, his hygienist, did a terrific job cleaning my teeth. No discomfort at all! I’ll certainly return for another visit.

I have never enjoyed going to the dentist. That being said, my experience with Dr. Strauss was lovely. He took the time to explain the surgery I needed to have, and what that would entail. At the start the surgery, he could see that I was visibly nervous and gave me the time I needed to gather myself before continuing on. While a relatively small thing, it meant a lot that he considered my comfort. I highly recommend Dr. Strauss and his team!

First, I do not generally take the time to write reviews. Second, I do not look forward to going to the dentist. However, Dr. Strauss and his team deserve positive recognition, for they have created more than a pleasant atmosphere. They are attentive, responsive, professional, and gentle.

First class perio work. Dr. Strauss called the day after to make sure I was doing well after extensive work. He showed care and understanding, did top notch work, and has followed up routinely to make sure things stay healthy. I appreciated his explanation of my issues and treatment options. Patricia and Courtney are professional and responsive.

I dreaded going to a Periodontist but Dr Strauss was great. He explained everything to me and answered all my questions. The procedure took about an hour and was PAINLESS. He has a very congenial office staff and he runs on time. He’s a terrific Periodontist and I strongly recommend him.

I'm happy with Dr Strauss' dental care from oral exam, tooth extraction, implants to his skills and caring. I strongly recommend him for such services. The exam is thorough along with the treatment options which he spends time to explain clearly all follow-through steps. The staff, particularly the front desk is friendly and professional. The office is spacious and well equipped.

Dr. Strauss conducts himself very professionally, his office is nice, clean and stylish with old artifacts, and he put that extra effort for me when explaining the surgery process in full detail, before and during the surgery itself, which I required. I highly recommend Leonard for any periodontal work you may have. He knows his trade extremely well, and his services are industry properly-priced as compared to other periodontists that have quoted me incredibly high and unrealistic prices.
