Dr. Leo Chin, DMD

Lady at the front desk is very rude and unprofessional you would think he would correct it he is no better every appointment he says he doing one thing and does the total opposite the first day he put my son braces on brackets fell off and he took Offense and still have not replaced them when I paid money out of pocket! She tried to tell me what I was not told when she at the front desk!

I prepaid for half of my daughter's braces, she had to leave the area unexpectedly and they would not refund any portion that I had paid even though she was only a patient for a few months. Per another provider, he uses antiquated methods.

I do not recommend Dr. Chin. He has a high employee turnover, which means inexperienced assistants are working on your teeth. They frequently make mistakes and are slow. On top of that they overbook patients resulting in long wait times. Every adjustment appointment is over an hour long. Dr. Chin does not answer any questions you have and completely dismisses your concerns. He does not explain your treatment or progress. After over 2 years of treatment Dr. Chin attempted to remove my braces even though they were clearly not ready to be off. I still had a gap in my two front teeth, multiple teeth were rotated, my bottom teeth were more crowded then when I started treatment, and he left huge gaps next to my incisors that were too big to be fixed with bonding like he suggested. I ended up having to switch to another orthodontist to finish my treatment. I lost time and money trusting Dr. Chin. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Dr.Chin is very talented I don’t Have any complaints, but staff at the office is very poor, didn’t recommend you waste your time they don’t have a good customer service,

Dr. Chin is very talented. Did my daughter and thinking about my granddaughter now. Took her there for an eval and he put the same round instrument in every childs mouth in his little off the side eval room which every child has to got to! I would highly tecommend except for that offense. That cant be legal.

Don’t waste your time and money here. They don’t fix your teeth, instead they will make it worse than it was before and expect you to pay for it. They are only in the office few times a week and so there is tight scheduling, meaning they often overbook their patients. Also their staff is not professional, dr. Chen gives no explanation about your teeth whatsoever and doesn’t acknowledge your comments or concerns.

Excellent doctor,. He fixed my teeth and I'm so happy for that. The staff is very nice with me.

Dr.Chin is very rude along with the office manager Reni. They always over book patients in the Plant City Office. He has a high turn over in staff. I would not recommend using him.

Excellent orthodontist--I had serious crossbite and crooked teeth, his work was a miracle. It took 3 years and several months but was worth it. I had no trouble at his office, his staff is friendly enough. As with anything related to your body, half of the work is done by the doctor, and the other half is up to you. Don't eat the foods that damage your braces, wear your rubber bands, brush, floss, stick to the doctor's orders. Dr. Chin's services are also very reasonably prices.

Dr. chin has treated my sons teeth. He did an amazing job. It looks beautiful. I had my teeth also treated and those results are also great. He is very nice, truly wants you to have a great result and f he thinks that your braces need to stay on longer then the anticipated time, he won't charge you more. He just wants the job done well. And he won't charge you more either! I have done several quotes before I choose him. He was the best knowledgeable orthodontist and was the cheapest.

Dr. Chen is a good, knowledgeable orthodontist, but they over schedule patients. It takes us an hour to an hour and a half every time we visit just to do a monthly service appointment for our kids which really shouldn't take more than about 15 minutes. the waiting room is so crowded that there aren't enough chairs for people waiting. Instead, patients are moved to desks in the hallways where they wait an hour or more for service. It feels like they are hoarding cattle, not seeing patients.

Very unimpressed with service. Dr. was ALWAYS late to the office. I would arrive 15 minutes prior to appointment and he would arrive 15 minutes late, then have to set up etc. which would push appointments back 30 minutes. He was so late one time I had to leave to go to my job and tried to reschedule at the front desk and the girl refused to reschedule me. I stopped going to the office because how unprofessional and unfriendly they were.

Plant City office takes forever, do not recommend. Assistants just talk with each other rather than actually doing their job. They don't even go by appointments, it's going to take you at least an hour to get out there.
