Dr. Laura Dyras, DDS

I was in severe jaw pain for a few weeks. Ended up at the ER where they took imaging and told me I had a dental problem. Went to Dyras and was told it was an E.N.T. problem… went back to the ER and had another scan. Sent the scan with the opinion of the X-ray tech to Dyras who still refused it being a dental issue and in fact told me she doesn’t know how well the machines were compared to hers in office. She refused to see me again until I went to ENT. This entire back and forth went on for nearly a month! Called the dentist up the street crying in so much pain, he saw me in 30 min and sure enough, I needed an emergency root canal that afternoon. I was a patient of Dyras for about 10 years. I tell everyone not to go there.

They do not follow up on their patients. Would not help in an emergency situation. Would not help.

My girlfriend visited Dr. Dryas to have a common root canal done. However, Dr. Dryas was more concerned about what music was playing throughout the office than the procedure. Distracted, Dr. Dryas perforated the sinus wall which will now require intervention from an Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist. 17 days and 2 follow up visits later she is in debilitating pain worst then pre-operation and must bear the burden of paying a specialist for Dr. Dryas negligence. Dr. Dryas failed to inform or was not aware herself of the risks of the procedure. Dr. Dryas performed a procedure that she lacked the ability to perform. If you care about your teeth do not visit this establishment.

Dr. Dyras made my experience at the dentist more comfortable than any other dentist. She had me in and out during my appointment. There's never a long waiting to see the dentist, and her staff is so friendly and easy to talk to. If I had any questions Dr. Dyras and the rest of her staff was very willing to answer my questions.
