Dr. Kathy Kim, DDS

Dr. Kathy is the nicest dentist I have ever found. My family has been going to her for over 17 years. I have recommended her many times with excellent results. Before I found Dr. Kathy my Daughter had a bad experience at a dentist. Dr. Kathy, could not relieve my daughters Tooth pain with injections, but was very patient and was finally able to anesthetize it with Gas. My daughter will not go to any other dentist now.

Dr. Kim urged me to get silver fillings despite my desire for white (stating that my cavities were too difficult / teeth were too sensitive for the white ones). I got a mouth full of silver and they were poorly done and have cracked / fallen out after just a few years (silver fillings, when done well, should last much longer). I had all of them re-done by another dentist who used the white fillings and they are all fine now. My new dentist was appalled by the poor job she did on my teeth.

Dr. Kim is very nice, but we have always had long times waiting. I also feel like she is an extra conservative dentist and doesn't want to recommend any procedure that isn't 100% necessary. My children are big for their age and she never looks at their chart to see how old they are - she just guesses based on their size. She didn't want to fill a cavity on my son because she assumed he would lose the tooth soon (based on his size, not age) even though he is 2-3 years away from losing that tooth
