Dr. Karl Hickey Heggland, DDS

This is my second procedure with Dr. Heggland. The first was an upper wisdom tooth extraction that was so smooth and quick, I thought he was joking when he said he was done. The current procedure is a clean up from another dentist. It's going well. I cannot fathom Dr. Heggland ever acting as the one star review says. He's a good guy, explains everything and makes you comfortable. I discount her opinion completely.

Dr. Heggland is the best. This is actually the second time I have had him perform oral surgery. He listens and end explains well. His staff is very good

My experience was excruciating. He extracted a tooth. I assumed this would be a simple process as I have had a few implants in the last 3 years. I was in pretty severe pain for nearly 7 weeks following the extraction. He followed up with 3 (!!) courses of antibiotics, and had me in to the office to remove an infected suture. I went to my general dentist a few weeks later for a routine filling. She noticed (what I thought was another suture left behind) Even better--a sizeable piece of bone/tooth left behind. She called it a bony spicula? So, a not-so-easy procedure with Dr. Heggland. When I called him today to ask for an explanation of 3 mishaps on a simple procedure; he started yelling at me? How unprofessional. He offered no apology. What a creep!! Beware of this guy. His staff on the other hand is lovely. Hope he is nice to them, but I doubt it....passive agressive is not what you want in a dentist

Dr. Heggland is the best of the best. I had to have my first tooth pulled and get my first implant. Never any pain a little ibuprofen wouldn’t handle. I was amazed! His staff are all the best of the best also. If you want to be amazed, check it out for yourself.

Dr. Heggland and his staff are awesome. He gave thorough explanations of options and procedures, pre-and post surgery. Didn't charge for some of our appointments despite spending plenty of time answering questions.Very professional and considerate, I would highly recommend!
