Dr. Karen Kowalesik, DMD

I’ve been seeing Dr Kowalesik as my dentist for years now. Recently I had to have 2 implants placed on my upper right I was extremely nervous. She took her time answering my questions and explaining each step. Her chair side manner really put my nerves at ease. I’m so pleased to say that I have 2 beautiful implants. The whole process was much smoother than I anticipated. Everyone I send to her is so happy they joined the Pro Dental practice and are now one of her patients!

I came to Dr. Karen for a bottom Partial, the partial is so bad I can’t wear it, I told them it needs to go back to the lab they use and redo it from scratch. They denied, and started grinding the partial down. I still can’t wear it, when you pay 2500$ you expect the partial to not hurt when you chew. So we chalked it up as a loss and will find a place that just does partials, and get it done right. Do not go here.

I was traveling on business and had a tooth crack/split all the way through the root and was in significant pain. After searching on line for someone nearby who could take me...I met Dr. K. She quickly assessed the situation, gave me my options, did a full extraction which was required and alleviated the pain. She began the work to prepare for an implant I had decided on vs. bridge work. She identified other issues that she quickly addressed and included in my follow-up visits for the implant. She is a true professional who is bright, efficient, clear in her communication and most important, carried out a flawless and painless procedure that I was dreading. There was no pain following the implant post insertion...no swelling, no bleeding and no pain at anytime during or after. That same visit, she also fixed a filling that had come out on a different tooth. As a medical professional myself, her skill and genuine passion for her work and patient care is refreshing to see.
