Dr. Karen Franz, DDS

Mark of a good dentist and their team is how they manage and react to a case that is a little more than just putting braces on. And Dr Karen Franz dissapointed us in that regards. My daughter developed some discomfort and involuntary mouth movements after her braces were put on. Since Dr. Fanz was on vacation we saw an on-call Doc who just took the braces off and asked us to wait for Dr. Fanz to return for next steps. Once Dr. Fanz returned, she refused to see us and refused to do any investigation on why the braces caused pain and discomfort. She simply told us to come back in 6 months. We didnt want to delay her treatment so we had to find another dentist who was kind and nice enough to investigate and explain to us what happened and why it happened. Turns out the braces were no put on properly and were irritating my daughters gums. Once the new braces were put on by the new dentist, my daughter was absolutely fine. We are utterly dissapointed with Dr Franz's indifference!
