Dr. Justin Nylund, DDS

I have been going to Taos dental group for over 10 years. A year ago when I called to make a cleaning appointment I was not able to get an appointment for over 8 months. I made the appointment for end of December and then several days before I get a call that it has been cancelled. My new appointment is now 4 weeks later. Then several days before that appointment I am again called and told it had to be rescheduled. Naturally, I was not happy about this. I told them this was unacceptable to keep being cancelled again and again and how was I to know if I wouldn't get cancelled again but just like Charlie brown kicking the football from Lucy I accepted the new appointment weeks later and wrote it on my calendar. I go in at 8 am and they not only have no appointment on the day they told me but there is NO appointment on their books at all. I asked to speak with the owner but of course he was not in the office. This is not the way you run a business. No empathy from any of the staff.

What a horrible customer service experience. I made dental appts for my two sons at the end of October. The earliest they could be seen is December 16th so we booked the appts. December 16th comes about and it was a big snow storm and we live over an hour away. I had actually called the night before and left a message that we were going to try the roads in the morning to see if they were passable but wanted to give a heads up. They called me at 8 am to cancel and had never heard the message and the appt. was at 8:30 and we live over an hour away. So, rescheduled to January 27, 2020. Did receive a voice mail message the week before that one would have to be rescheduled. I had already told them twice now that we drive too far to schedule one at a time. They said they could move both to 1 pm from 3 pm and I called the morning of the appt and the person on the line said can’t reschedule to one as there is no hygienist coming in.
