I had a consult and thought that I had found the perfect practitioner to fix the I have from prior incomplete orthodontia work. Didn't work out the way I had hoped.

My son has been under Dr. Garfinkle's care since he was 8 years old. He had a bilateral cleft lip and palate. I am so thankful for his care and expertise. His staff has always been friendly and accommodating. They helped navigate dealing with our insurance company. A pleasure to work with. Highly recommended.

Dr. Garfinkle knows his stuff; no doubt. He's also rude and condescending to parents and children. We had to meet with him twice as part of my daughter's treatment at Doernbecher, and we are done. We will never let him near our daughter again. He spoke to us yesterday like we were something he wiped off his shoe, not like parents of a girl who needed orthodontic surgery. He spoke to us this way at the first appt. as well, but we let ourselves believe he was having a bad day. No more.
