Dr. Joshua Grooms, DDS

I had an abscess tooth. Dr Grooms said the infection was in my jaw so I had to get antibiotics and come back. Follow up visit he was going to extract the tooth. In the past I’ve had teeth removed in pieces because of large roots. Dr Grooms started numbing my jaw. He told me everything he was doing. It was the easiest extraction I’ve ever had! He was friendly and professional. I asked him about a different tooth and he checked it out and explained what he felt the problem was. I would have to go back to Dr who did root canal. I was impressed he took time to explain everything to me. His assistant was compassionate and friendly. You could tell they really care about their patients. I definitely will return!

I needed an extraction. I had the best experience! The pain was horrible and of course started late Friday. I couldn't find a dental office with emergency hours and had to wait until Monday.Simple Dental in Morristown takes walk-ins. I was able to get in and have the extraction on Monday.The staff was kind and professional. The clinic has state of the art technology. The best part is the care and ability of Dr. Grooms. He accurately explained the situation with its potential variables.He performed the best extraction I ever had, at 65, I've had several. My recovery and healing is far advanced and reflects the skill to remove a tooth without a lot of trauma.I will be a returning client.

I had a great experience the staff and the dentist are very nice. I’m afraid to have anything done to my teeth but they made me fell comfortable. They are quick you don’t have to wait long. I will recommend y’all to my friends and family!

Dr. Grooms and the office staff is outstanding. He was very informative and gentle, letting me know every step before doing it. I came in as a walk-in and the entire visit was quick and as painless as possible. I highly recommend him for your dentist needs.

I came in with a lot of pain, it turned out to be caused by a wisdom tooth, they got me in very quickly, did the x-ray and determined that it had to come out as it was causing an abscess, so the tooth had to be extracted, they numbed me up, then gave me shots to numb me even more, checked to see if I could feel anything, next thing I knew, they said "your all done" as it was out.. painless. Great, pain free care...

Had a tooth that busted and cracked one beside it in the process of breaking. But I was so apprehensive about dentists that I put it off for over a year. I had less than an hour wait time, under $200 bill, felt no pain during the procedure and didn't need to fill my Rx afterwards. Pain was what you'd expect, soreness around stitches but Motrin worked fine. Wish I hadn't waited so long!! Will definitely be back if needed and will definitely recommend!

I haven't been to the dentist in years. I was nervous and embarrassed, but the assistants along with Dr. Grooms were fantastic. They made everything as comfortable as possible with absolutely no judgement!

My experience with Dr Grooms was a great one. I was so nervous to get my tooth pulled but he made me very comfortable. The staff was very nice and easy going and made me feel at ease.

With no appointment, I was taken back within 10 minutes of completing the paperwork. The equipment was very up-to-date, as I have never had a panoramic type xray before in a dental office. Everyone on staff was very kind and empathetic. The office was very clean. Dr Grooms was very down-to-earth and comfortable to talk with. He listened to what I told him, and was prepared when I didn't completely numb from the first injections. He was patient and made sure not to rush the process to ensure I was adequately numbed. He was very thorough in his explanations of what to expect...no surprises! The pain and swelling from the molar extraction has been minimal, and I am not bruised. I was able to eat soft foods the same evening. Bonus: his prices are very reasonable! I have already been recommending him to close friends and will continue to see him for future work.
