Dr. Joseph, as he calls himself, meets the highest standard of medical care. He leans into his professional day with authenticity, following his oath as a medical practitioner, “Physician, do no harm .“ Proficient, curious, informing, considerate, humble. I would travel 5,000 miles and back, which I literaly did, to call Dr. Joseph Schafermeyer my dentist.

Best dentist I have ever head, mainland and islandside. Puts a lot of care into what he does. Nicest guy and the most competent. Highly recommend it. Did a couple of crowns for me, lots of other dental work. Everything is holding up years later. No issues.

The worst dental office experience by far. Office assistant is very rude. Almost 2 months after my husband paid close to $600 for a filling, he still had pain in that tooth. He scheduled an appointment for the doctor to see what is wrong and on the day of the appointment he gets a call from that rude office staff, which I answered, that they do not take our insurance and they cannot see him and she hang up on me. my husband called her back, she spoke with the doctor and said, " the doctor will check if he did something wrong but after that we will not see you anymore." I myself had an appointment scheduled 2 weeks in advance they told me that they accept my insurance , when I came for my appointment after waiting for a while for my turn, the doc saw me for under 5 minutes and told me that he cannot take care of it that day even though it was a very simple issue. so i was told to come back in 2 weeks.
