Dr. John Zarrella, DMD

His work is good, but as others have said - he really pushes for optimal and often unnecessary procedures. I also question his ethics. He told my wife that in order to obtain a partial denture she first needed to treat some teeth that he said had abscesses. This would require root canals and crowns. He also listed a fair number of cavities. The quote was just under $10K and did not include the denture. My wife was suspicious and two weeks later she went to another dentist and didn't tell him anything about Dr. Zarrella. This dentist found NO abscesses, fewer cavities. This other dentist did all the work including some restorative crowns, plus provided a partial denture for under $4K. And the work was excellent. Personally, I'd stay away from Dr. Zarrella.

Booked an appointment, took time off work, showed up for the appointment, found that the clinic was closed. When I called and asked, they said they had to close and I should have received a call. Guess what, I never did. I was a new patient. Never going back again!

Although I like the quality of work, find the pushy nature of procedures leads to doubts about appropriate next steps. Need to do a better job listening to patients concerns rather than a cookie cutter agenda of procedures.

Extremely pushy and sales-ey to the point that you don't know what you really need. I've always had healthy teeth and gums, without one cavity, and they convinced me I needed to return every three to four months for the first year with them, which my insurance would not cover. I have a retainer from when my braces were removed, which I use as a grind guard, yet they relentlessly harassed me via excessive phone calls to pay for an overpriced expensive replacement. I could go on and on.
