Dr. John Lindgren, DMD

I had a deeply disappointing experience at Arlington Orthopedics due to unprofessional and disrespectful treatment from the staff, including John and his wife. A nurse was rough with my glasses, and later implied I needed a translator due to my English proficiency. Another nurse spoke without a mask, which led to spit landing in my mouth. When discussing a payment plan, John’s wife became visibly upset and insisted on more money, while John rushed a procedure, leaving my teeth with an uneven shape and ongoing pain. Despite my complaints, they offered no apology, ignored my calls until I used a different number, and appeared to incentivize positive reviews with prizes, which made me question the credibility of their reviews. Overall, I felt the experience lacked professionalism, care, and respect.

Had a good experience. Got retainers after I finished my at home aligners treatment. Wanted a better quality retainer because I did my aligners online and I don’t trust smile direct club. Will be back for another backup retainer

We have used Dr. Lindgren for both our kids and even for myself. He is fair in his assessments and doesn't push anything. My son first visited to get an assessment and he was diagnosed with perfect teeth! Nothing required. When my daughter first visited, he said she didn't need anything. However, over time, our dentist suggested that she may need another evaluation. We went to visit Dr. Lindgren again and he reviewed everything and determined a course of action. We had a few choices and went with palate expander and braces in the future. Every visit is good and no fear at all. As for me, my dentist recommended I see an orthodontist bc my teeth were not lining up properly (for years) and he was worried about wear. My visit with Dr. Lindgren also was an assessment and again, to fix my problem, there were many options (including jaw surgery!) however, he said a night guard was probably the best method as my teeth were working just fine. This is a top notch local gem!

I had a terrible experience with Arlington Orthodontics; I would give them negative stars if I could. The atmosphere was so unwelcoming and hostile; they clearly just did not want my business. I also thought it was strange how unavailable the dentists, Dr. Lindgren was. Every time I asked to talk to him about my questions and concerns, I was told he did not have time to speak to me. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I took my business elsewhere and I suggest you do the same.

My child had a very positive experience with getting braces at Dr. Lindgren's office. She was taken care of very well at all of the visits throughout the process, with great results at the end. Scheduling was easy, and everyone at the office was friendly and helpful.

He might have knowledge of his field but his skills of orthopedics are not enough.

A friend had recommended Dr Lindgren to us.. Best place you’ll ever go.. Staff is wonderful, office is bright and supper clean.. Dr Lindgren was great to work with , told us everything that was going on at each appointment and what to expect.. Will definitely go back when my other kids need braces..

Dr Lingren is very experienced and friendly, he always answers questions patiently from parents as well as kids and kids love him! His office environment are also kids friendly and clean. His office staff and nurses are all very nice and helpful. At the first the evaluation step, they have the new advanced 3D tachnique so the kid won't need a traditional unpleasant molding procedure. Much more to share but the space has limitation, so five stars! Thank you Dr Lingren and all your staff!

Dr. Lindgren and his staff are simply outstanding. The knowledge and professionalism I experienced at Arlington Orthodontics was superior. We liked *everything* about this office - Dr. Lindgren, the hours & the office staff! A special shout-out to Kara. She spent an entire morning on the phone (before we were officially patients) with me & the insurance companies on the last day of open enrollment trying to help me to figure out the best way to cover our upcoming dental costs. She was so knowledgeable & helpful. She helped me formulate questions & figure out our out-of-pocket costs. She was invaluable in the planning process!
