A Wonderful Dentist in Astoria Queens
Dr. Cambitsis is a superb dentist. He is the recipient of the Silvermann award, the highest honor the NYU Dental School gives to a single graduate. He is caring, honest, and completely professional I all ways. His fees are very reasonable. I would give him the highest recommendation without hesitation

Horrible unprofessional place. Terrible receptionist/secretary. You will never receive a call back if you need to speak to the dentist. He is rough. He's dishonest and even lied to me about one of my teeth. Also he tried to trick me into doing something he knew I was not okay with, also by lying about it.

I first visited Dr. Cambitsis 3 yrs ago after trying out many other dentists in the area. I can genuinely say that this is the BEST dental office I have ever been to. Staff are courteous, office is clean and appointments are on schedule. Most importantly, Dr. Cambitsis's breadth of knowledge, attention to detail and honesty is unlike anything I have experienced in any medical setting. I will continue to refer others to his office.

This dentist participates in my dental insurance but did not accept payment from the insurer. You have to pay up front. He overcharged me and I am still trying to get my money back. All I get is : "the check is in the mail." Then I was charged for a crown that was more expensive than what my insurance paid and I was never informed of this additional charge before the work was done-and I got stuck paying for it. The office never returns your calls. My advice: go somewhere else.
