I felt pressured to have a procedure I did not want or believe that I need. When I did not accede I was kicked out of the office without the service I expected. Following a complete oral exam I was informed that Dr. Beavin had found four 6mm pockets. She recommended scaling and root planing. I asked to proceed with with prophylaxis and to schedule the procedure for a later date. When I refused to have the more invasive prodecure, the doctor vanished and I was escorted out by the office manager.
