Dr. Jeffrey Melini, DMD

The absolute worst experience I could only ever pray another parent not endure. My child was absolutely terrorized by this office and this doctor and she is now in therapy. They care about nothing but making money. Take your child to literally ANYONE else.

The dental office environment on its own is beautiful and high end and everything a kid would love and be comfortable also. What i didn't like was the dental treatment on its own. First of the doctor does not give you an option not to use laughing gas even though your child has no anxiety issues and has gone through a dental filling before elsewhere with no issues. When doing 2 fillings at once (next to each other) i was charged for the laughing gas twice at 50$ and the insurance will not cover. 3 fillings were discussed but somehow we ended up with 4 at the end. Its also very hard to get appointments. Kids are in school and they hardly have any evenings and no weekends.

Just FYI this office will charge you a $50 fee if you cancel your appointment within 24 hours. Apparently, even if your reason for canceling your 6 year old’s 9 am appointment is because said 6 year old was up all night vomiting. I almost wish I had just taken my sick child there and let them vomit all over Dr. Melini’s fancy office. I have also found Dr. Melini to be extremely unprofessional. I know a couple of his former employees and he just loves to tell me all about how he fired them.

Dr. Melini's pediatric dental practice is second to none! My daughter was a patient of his for over 18 years, and all of our interactions with both Dr. Melini and his staff were positive, professional, and friendly. His vision extended to the modern office environment he provided the children. From a parent's point of view, it was clear early on that Dr. Melini's goal was not only to provide excellent dental care, but also to make each child's experience a positive one.

Longtime family of Dr. Melini's practice - would give him 12 stars if I could. His care is always professional, curtious, and kind. His office is immaculate with state-of-the-art equipment! My kids never whine about going to the dentist!

Dr. Melini is a highly skilled pediatric dentist that is also personable, pleasant and patient. His office is impeccable - clean and modern. My daughter had a multitude of issues with her baby teeth. Dr. Melini's knowledgeable care and advice were always delivered in regards to her long-term dental health. 17 years later and her teeth are gorgeous! He and his staff are ALWAYS courteous and kind. Her overall dental health is fantastic. Could not imagine going to anyone else!

Dr. Melini handled my screaming toddler with ease! He patiently answered all of our questions and was thorough, but efficient. He had us in and out of the office in a reasonable amount of time. I would recommend him to other parents.

Dr Melini has been my boys dentist for years. They actually enjoy going to the dentist!? We trust him and he has been a great partner working through orthodontic challenges my oldest is dealing with. I highly recommend Dr Melini.

All 5 of my children have gone to Dr. Melini since we moved to the area when my oldest was 2. I trusted him from our first visit and my kids have always looked forward to their dentist appointments- now that's saying something!

Overall a good dentist, however lacks patience with kids dealing with anxiety. Gets frustrated very quick then gives up. Ive left there several times disappointed and annoyed with his lack of consideration towards kids who are nervous. Kinda get the sense that he would rather not have patients come to his practice if they display any hesitation at all. He did mention to my son that he has two other patients waiting and doesn't have time for this. Guess that is the business side of things/

Dr Melini has been treating my kids for about 10 yrs. Started going to him after I took my 5 yr old to her 1st dental appt & was told that she had multiple cavities. I was suspicious & wanted another opinion. 10 yrs later & my daughter is cavity-free. I trust him completely & he has always been great with my kids. His office staff are the most professional you will find any where.

Rude with parents and child. Doesn't have any patience with nervous kids. Wants to immediately send them somewhere else if they aren't 100% perfect. I would not recommend him to ANYONE!

Dr. Melini is a great pediatric dentist. Not sure why others have rated him as average.
