Odd bedside manner
First of all expect to pay high dollar for a consult fee, $359. Quality of the consult, eh, not so great. Dr. Wolcott stood in the corner of the exam room as he talked to me, sometimes with crossed arms, where as most dentists have sat next to me. And his assistant even seemed bored and ready to end the session. A more personable and thorough exam would have been appreciated. Will not use him for a root canal. Seems quite pricey for the quality of care I experienced.

Botched Root Canal
Dr. Wolcott said I’m going to do some drilling, but I’ll let you know before I do a root canal. He drilled and worked on the tooth for a while and then went and sat on the other side of the room and announced that the file (dentist language for drill bit) had separated and will be embedded in my tooth. I responded with “so you did the root canal? I thought you were going to tell me before you did it”. He said the tooth will be fine, but I told you about the file breaking off so when you get X-rays you can explain the metal left in the tooth.Tooth became severely infected and had to be removed by oral surgeon, needed bone graft & implant another $6,800.00. Save yourself a lot of pain and lots of money and stay away for this guy.

Doctor Wollcott checked a procedure I had done about 2 years ago I'm experiencing some pain however he feels it's still healing I'm not sure that is correct it just recently started hurting so I feel there are issues with the tooth however dr. Wolcott believe we should wait and see what happens. Im not really comfortable with this decision.
