Dr. James Lee, DDS

After having been told that I needed a root canal (with an abscess) by my primary dentist, I decided to get a second opinion. Dr. Lee was highly recommended to me by a trusted friend. His examination was thorough and not rushed. He spent over an hour explaining the results of the CT scan and pointed out all my problem areas. He concluded that the root canal was an impossibility due to the abscessed (and cracked) bone and recommended an implant instead. He evaluated all my teeth and gums and took some additional photos (non-x-rays) of my problem areas. Although he does not carry my dental plan, he volunteered to provide me with a disk of the CT scan as well as a complete write-up of his evaluation with recommendations. He did all this in an extremely expedient time-frame and even suggested i take all this information with me to another dentist. Who does that? He and his staff are remarkable, professional, and efficient. Dr. Lee as one of the most ethical dentists I've ever known.

Dr Lee is a dentist who cares deeply about his patients comfort. He is an expert in his field, is a family man who relates to all ages, has a sense of humor and does not push you for work you don't require. Having had many dentist in my 77 years and as a world traveler I put Dr James Lee at the top.

Good at what he does, and never overcharges or recommends unnecessary procedures

Our entire family has been in the care of Dr Lee for the past 25 years. Dr Lee is very thorough in his work and truly cares about the health of his patients. He has a very strong work ethic and is constantly updating his professional skill sets and readily applies those skills to the benefit of all who enter his office. Gentle dentistry is a hallmark of Dr Lee's practice and those same standards are evident throughout his professional staff. Excellent Dentist.

I chose health coverage that is more expensive so I could keep Dr. Lee as my dentist, as I do not want to go to anyone else. Dr. Lee is thorough, explains what he's going to do before he does it, explains the costs involved, is gentle and personable. When some dentists give shots, it feels like they're jabbing, but when Dr. Lee gives a shot to deaden the mouth/gums, he does it very gently and takes his time. He is an EXCELLENT dentist.
