I had a very bad experience with this provider regarding a billing issue. While I was at an appt for cleaning, I asked the hygienist if I could ask the doctor one question about whether I would be a candidate for invisiline braces, but prefaced it by saying I don't need to ask if it would mean I would incur a cost for an exam, which I wasn't scheduled for that day and didn't need. The hygienist asked the receptionist who acted like she understood the question but she didn't give any response to the question. After my cleaning the receptionist guided me to meet with the doctor. I asked my question which didn't involve ANY exam or even looking in my mouth. Later I received a bill for my cleaning and I was charged an additional $150 for an exam. When I called the office manager she was very rude and said ANY meeting with the doctor constitutes an appt and I would have to pay or it would go to collections. She didn't care whatsoever that her receptionist made a mistake---there was zero customer service. Apparently it didn't matter that I asked two of her employees, one of whom, the hygienist, I had no fault with--she asked if I could ask the question without having to have an appt and be charged. But the receptionist said nothing and apparently had no culpable responsibility here and the manager was extremely rude and inflexible. I will never go back here. The only star I give is because the provider is supposed to be knowledgable.
