Steady & Patient Dentist But Watch for Root Canals
I have been going to Dr. Woo for years. He is a very patient dentist with a good touch. He did a couple of implants for me years ago that are fine, but lately he did a root canal which was fine until the next appointment. The tooth felt solid and just needed to be shaped and fitted for a crown. But that next visit for the shaping and fitting left the tooth painful to the touch as well as the wisdom tooth but it was not obvious since I wasn’t eating on it. But, not only was it not fine but the tooth is now loose. So 2 weeks later I get the crown on. I then chew on it, and I could push the tooth with my tongue and the crown is pushing up against the other tooth. Plus, the fit is so tight on the wisdom side that a thin thread flosser will not fit without a hard force snap and nearly as hard to remove it. Both teeth are painful to the touch as though my jaw bone were somehow impacted or drilled. Thousands of dollars and I may have a long road ahead. My opinion - no root canals.

When cleaning my teeth, he was very aggressive despite the flinching, he just kept right on. Despite very healthy teeth, many of my gums were bleeding. When it came time for the polishing, not only did he not polish each tooth, he didn't even touch all sides of the tooth, instead he ran it along my teeth in one quick swipe. There was no one waiting so no reason for speed. I asked him a question, he said it was nothing and didn't answer it and then asked if I had any questions. Will not go back.
