Dr. Jack Irwin, DDS

Went to Irwin for a root canal. He had problems w the last gutta-percha & started yelling & cursing in my face. No joke. Eventually, he said he'd gotten it. Crown was way too big. Over the next few years, I ran into problems, starting with chronic halitosis. My new dentist couldn't find the problem. Eventually, I ended up with agonizing jaw pain & an emergency visit. X-ray showed a 1-inch abscess in my jaw under Irwin's crown. There was NO gutta-percha in one canal and food had gotten in and festered. If it ruptured I would have died. When I called Irwin for my medical records I could tell he knew what was going on. He said, "That was over 3 years ago, right?" IMHO to dissuade me from suing. Since then the tooth had to be removed & messily. Irwin failed to seal the last canal, lied & said he'd done it. He knew full well what he'd done &, I am sure, was well aware of the complications that would follow. He basically risked my life because he was too incompetent to do his job properly.

This man is a clown. His manner is sophmoric at best and he cares not a bit for the well being of his patients. A total mishap of a dentist.

Dr. Irwin has been our family dentist for the past 25 years through cleanings, scalings, wisdom teeth, root canals and crowns. His straightforward and reassuring manner make dental visits an easy part of dental health.
