I am not one to ever leave a bad review since I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. However, this time I cannot let it slide and honestly wish I could give negative stars. Seeing other negative reviews on here that are somewhat similar to mine and to see them deny doing the work tells me they are just too ashamed to admit their mistakes. I would stay far far away.
I needed to make an emergency appointment mid March for an immense amount of tooth/mouth/jaw pain I was experiencing. For the most part I was able to pin point where the pain was originating from (which was a back tooth I already had a filling in from when I was younger). I was told I had a cavity on my back two teeth that needed to be filled. Even though I was in a lot of pain they did not bring me back until just over 2 weeks later to have it filled. And they even called me the day after my emergency appointment to cancel my 6 month cleaning I had scheduled for the following week because they “didn’t have a hygienist that day” and that they now couldn’t get me in until July because of it! So, I go in for my filling on the very last day of the month and once again voice my concern about the mouth and tooth pain I am experiencing everywhere. Dr Rathod tells me himself it does not sound right but to give it some time since I now had the filling and see if it goes away and if not to let them know. I let it go a week thinking maybe he’s right and it will just gradually go away. A few days during that week I felt hopeful because the pain didn’t seem nearly as bad as other days. Then the Friday before Easter got here and that night I was once again in a ridiculous amount of throbbing pain and noticed a dark spot on top of the cement filling he just filled only 1 week prior. I really believed I had an infection since I had many symptoms of one so I reached out to Dr Rathods emergency number on Saturday at 11 AM to see if I can get an antibiotic or just see about something I can do. He never called me back. I called again around 430 PM and still heard nothing until 8 PM that night. He didn’t sound too worried and just said I needed to get into the office when they opened Tuesday. I had to bring up about an infection again and ask for an antibiotic. He agreed and said he would call one in first thing Sunday morning when the pharmacy opened. Being Easter Sunday I asked him when I should expect to go to the pharmacy to pick it up or even just reach out to them and he told me noon time. I reached out the following day only for the pharmacy to tell me he never called it in. I reach out to the emergency line again at 1230 pm to question it and remind him and he never got back to me at all that day. I called the pharmacy numerous times and they still had nothing and even felt bad for me. The following day I still heard nothing from him until 430 PM!!!! 28 HOURS after calling an emergency line that’s supposed to get back to you within an hour. He told me he called the prescription yesterday and again today and that it should be there. I called the pharmacy again just for them to tell me they still didn’t have it. I gave him the name and number of the pharmacy numerous times through messages I had to leave for him since he refused to get back to me. So there’s no excuse for there to be a mix up. Meanwhile before he called me Monday I went to the urgent care because I could not take it anymore and even started developing sickness and sinus issues which made me think the infection was just spreading. The urgent care noticed right away just from swelling on my face that I had an infection and that it was likely spreading to other areas which is probably why I was now sick and having even more symptoms to deal with. They gave me everything I needed and even apologized and were disgusted with the neglect I received over an emergency situation. I called Dr Rathods emergency number back and voiced my feelings and frustration and even told him to call me back with the pharmacy he contacted so I can reach out to them to now cancel that prescription and he couldn’t even do that since I never heard back from him. Which makes me think nothing was ever called in to begin with and he was just waiting for me to come in Tuesday (today). I am extremely disgusted with the whole situation and practice. They clearly don’t care about their patients ESPECIALLY in emergency situations. I apologized a couple times realizing it was a holiday weekend but I needed the help and it’s an emergency line for a reason. First time took him 9 hours to get back to me and second time 28 hours! And still received no help from him whatsoever. I had to go through the holiday weekend feeling absolutely horrible. The work he did do on my teeth (fillings) was obviously not even the right course of action since my filling now has a dark spot and is hurting worse than before. The real issue was just looked over and on top of it I got an infection. I refuse to go back. I don’t trust him even looking at my teeth anymore. And I hope others realize how shady this place is as well. I have all proof and even plan to report them further. Don’t make the same mistake by going here. I will be going to a real dentist now to fix the mistakes he made.

Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Rathod?
I had four appointments scheduled at this office. The first one made was for a standard cleaning. I arrived and was told it was a consultation so they could look at my teeth (for a cleaning?????). Following appointment they did the cleaning. Third appointment was for fillings/bondings. I showed up and was told the insurance company didn't approve it yet (a phone call would've saved me a lot of time and aggravation). Fast forward, I had another appointment today. I called this morning to confirm the insurance went through and the time of my appointment and they said we were all set. I showed up at the correct time and they said I was a half hour late AFTER they confirmed the time 4 hours prior to me showing up. I have never ever had an experience like this before. I do NOT recommend them whatsoever and am wondering why they need to schedule so many appointments for basic procedures that take less than an hour at every other dentist I've been to.
