Dr. Gregory Kuo, DDS

I would give zero star if I can. I had a routine teeth cleaning with them last month. While doing it, there were some checkup. A crown done by him was still a little bit sensitive, so I told the technician that, but I also mentioned it is not really significant. She went ahead brough in the doctor and said they would make it perfect without mentioning anything. Now a month later, I got a $107 bill for adjustment. When I called in to ask the charge, the front desk was very condescending and rude. I would say it is the worst I have ever seen. She first said it was not that big a deal, then gave me a lecture that I needed to ask about the cost ahead of time, then basically hung up on me. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there. Definitely the worst experience I have ever had with any doctor.

I am a senior citizen who went to Dr. Kuo's office for a yearly exam and cleaning. My family and I have been to a lot of doctor and dentist offices over the years, but we have never encountered office staff as unprofessional and bad as the staff at Dr. Kuo's office. Before I had two fillings done, the receptionist Lisa predetermined, in writing, that my procedures would be covered by insurance. Unfortunately, afterward, my insurance refused to pay. While I appealed my insurance, the receptionist insisted I pay the portion insurance had not covered. Not only that, but they also charged me a ridiculously huge penalty fee as well as sent me to collections. I am never one to not pay my bills, and I communicated with the clinic throughout the entire process. I would be wary of doing business with this clinic as my experience with them was far from pleasant.

I've been going to Dr. Kuo for many years now, but ever since Linda the receptionist left, the new receptionist has been a major pain. She is very rude and it's matter of time that she rids Dr. Kuo of his old time patients. Dr. Kuo himself is very good and competent, but I am disappointed in his choice of office staff.
