Awful
No sympathy for his patients who are in pain! He leaves tooth fragments in EVERY single patient. He told me to treat my dry socket with mouth wash. He needs his license taken away. The reviews on google give you the experience of this man without even having to go there. Im disgusted!

BAD IDEA! STAY AWAY!
Dr Ean James is not to be trusted! I went for 4 veneers and within 2 weeks they fell out. I went back and got them redone, and a week later they fell out again. In a two month period my veneers fell out 5 times..... He promised me each time that it would be the last. The second to my last appointment he bragged about buying a new $200 cement, which is nothing compared to the $4500 I gave him for a job not done. His staff is rude and do not care. His practice is like a fast-food restaurant drive through, pushing and pulling patients out of the chair so he could move to the next without taking true time and care. I couldn't have a solid meal for over a month and still cannot chew, eat properly. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. I do not understand how he's still in practice. DO NOT LET HIS CONFIDENCE AND BACKGROUND FOOL YOU!! HE'S FALSE IN ALL SENSES!

Not even surprised
I didn’t like this environment, the person who took my X-rays was amazing! Truly a kind and efficient individual. The “Doctor” wasn’t so pleasant. Seems more of like a classist thing, wasn’t greeted after saying hello or talked to kind like he was with his other patient next door. Very snarky and made a comment about “the government is paying for this” to his employees. I left before getting work done, the environment was weird. I would give it zero stars if possible.

Excellent Doctor
My dentist told me I needed an oral surgeon and left me on my own to find one. I did my research and found Dr. James to be the best for my needs. I had very high expectations and he exceeded them! He is very kind. He wants your info and truly listens to what you have to say. He doesn’t just throw facts or his opinions at you. He is very thorough and has a real conversation with you about your wants, your needs and your expectations. Choosing Dr. James for my oral surgery was the very best decision for my needs.

Worst doctor ever
Had 4 wisdom teeth removed. They messed up real bad with a antheshia and I had to be rushed to the ER and spend a few days in the hospital. Would NEVER recommend this place.

Is there negative stars? This is the worst doctor/oral surgeon I’ve ever been to. He left with with permit damage after a tooth extraction. The damage is NO WHERE next to the tooth her operated on. He is a butcher not a doctor. His office staff is the only thing good about that office if you can deal with the miserable attitude the secretary has. I wouldn’t let him work on a corpse.

Had him remove one single wisdom tooth and he couldn’t even do that right. Joke of a doctor. Spent the whole time hitting on his poor intern/nurse? She was uncomfortable the whole time, as was I, since he didn’t say more than two words to me. Moving on to the actual wisdom tooth extraction; halfway through, my tooth was in excruciating pain and I tried to get him to give me a two second break to catch my breath. He wouldn’t. He just kept going saying “almost there, almost there” for about 10 minutes. Ever since then, the area where he pulled the wisdom tooth from has been destroyed. I can’t yawn more than 3 times a day. If I talk for 10 minutes straight I’m in pain. My jaw is constantly in pain for about a year now. Anyone watch the show Scrubs? Remember the surgeon Todd? Well this guy is Todd except he’s not actually good at surgery

Words can’t explain how great this doctor is!! I will recommend him for teeth extractions, implants etc. He is very knowledgeable and professional! I’ve gone to him since he took over the practice and won’t go anywhere else. I need to mention his staff is awesome too! I go to his Bristol office, but will travel anywhere his offices may be. I couldn’t be more happier I found Dr. James!!

Nightmare!!! May 2016 had a tooth extraction, bone graft and placing of implant in same appointment. Paid $2,000. Bone graft failed, performed a palate gum graft in July 2016, to cover the implant, which was too much exposed. It was too much exposed, because it was never placed correctly and deep enough in the first place!!! A piece of my cheek is sewed on to my gums. The pain I went through!!! Cost of implant removal and sinus lift by another surgeon about another $2,000.

I am a veteran who needed arthocentisis for my TMJ. The VA does not do this surgery so we looked outside of the VA. Due to my tight schedule (I was moving out of state), the entire staff ended up coming in TWO HOURS early just to ensure that I got my surgery before I moved with enough time for my followup appt. THIS IS SUCH A PATIENT CENTERED FACILITY ?? I adore them and thanks to them, after 7 years of my jaw pain getting worse and worse, I FINALLY have relief! THANK YOU!

The only one at this office that had a caring personality was the receptionist. Staff shuffled me around, from x-ray, to tooth pulling with barely a word. While waiting for Novocain to kick in I was left to “relax” with rap music playing to “calm” me, No thank you. Dr. James did do a good job but never a phone call from him or staff to check on me within the first 24 hours. The whole time I felt I was inconveniencing them, so glad it’s over.

I called their office. Asked if they accepted medicaid. They said yes. Made the appointment. Gave them my medicaid card. They took down the info. They accepted my card, took an xray and said come back tomorrow to pull a wisdom tooth. They call me the very next day to say they DO NOT accept medicaid. Sent me a $90 bill for the xray, which i will NEVER pay, of course. Sent the bill to a collection agency who continue to harass me. The dentist was VERY nice though. The billing woman is nasty.

Had my #1 and #32 extracted almost 2 weeks ago and comparing this experience to the one I had with my other wisdom to extraction by a different doctor where I was in pain for two months. It's less than 2weeks later and the pain is minimal I'm able to manage it with 400mg of IB's.
