I went to get a second opinion about a permanent bridge that I had done by another dentist (who she defended) that’s so bad it’s caused many dental issues. She had a smart mouth with me when I asked questions. I asked her if she could give me a letter based on her findings with the front permanent bridge. She replied rudely and told me that she didn’t write reports for insurance companies. I replied asking to just be given the report about the issues that she had found. Then she said she’d charge an hourly rate of $500 per hour before raising it to $650 per hour to write a report, but first I’d need to get an oral evaluation that she will charge $350 for plus a $435 diagnostic cost fee plus a two hour fee charged for her to do the report for $1300, a total of $3278. She made it very clear that I had to pay out of my pocket even though I have two insurance coverages. Also, she keeps a 70 lb dog roaming around the rooms. While she was checking my mouth, the dog came to the room.

I love Donna and she is an excellent dentist. I trust her with everything having to do with dentistry. Excellent dentist. That's why I drive from Santa Cruz to walnut creek for my dentistry work. I can not say enough about her and her entire staff. I do miss steve Goldman though!
