Nice Guy, Inept Dentist
After my initial visit, he suggested having crowns done on several teeth, which didn't need them and replacing an old cracked crown. The new crowns he suggested were not covered at all by my insurance and I ultimately began having trouble with 2 of them. Two different dentists explained what the problem was in the designing of the crowns. Dr. Pisciotta told me 'to live with it'. I now have to have 2 crowns removed and redone. The work he did on the old cracked crown was a fiasco. He put in a crown, which fell out a day or two later. Again, I went for a 2nd opinion. The dentist told me the material he used and the shape of the crown were both wrong. Dr. Pisciotta took the advice of the dentist I received the 2nd opinion from and did the crown over. I spent thousands of dollars with Dr. Pisciotta and will be spending thousands again to fix everything he did.

I want my ordeal regarding my dental care received from this dentist to be shared so that no one else will have similiar experiences . His website indicated he was highly educated, well trained and had more than 25 years of experience, which lead me to believe that he must be providing good dental care, but this was not the case for me. Unfortunately, I chose to have this dentist providing dental work for me. Calling this experience with his dental work a nightmare is a major understatement. He changed my 2 crowns and put veneers on my upper/lower teeth. This dentist actually joked that a truck could drive through the gap in my teeth. Choosing this dentist to do this work has to be the worst decision I have ever made. The crowns came off within a few months. I swallowed one of them while I was eating at work . I consulted with other dentists and showed them the picture I had taken right after this dentist took off my old crowns. The other dentist informed me the teeth had c

I had a horrible experience with this dentist.I had veneers and crowns done by this dentist a few months ago. I debated seeing this dentist after reading bad reviews about him. But his office and staff are ok, and he told me he was very experienced. I should have taken other people's bad reviews seriously. My 3 veneers came off at his office after bonding . One veneer came off at my house and one came off at my job. But my nightmares have not ended . I have been dealing with ongoing toothaches , sensitivities and extra salivation. I also had root canal done due to irreversible pulpitis from one of the veneer teeth. I have spent thousands of dollars on other dentists . More detailed review will come up soon .

Do not go to this Doctor! He is a typical bad dentist that is trying to find anything in your teeth to charge you for treatment that you do not need. I went there and was told I need to get 8 crowns on my perfectly fine teeth. He told me the reason is that my teeth enamel has became too week, and my teeth all need crowns to be stronger. If I had done the crown treatment, it would have cost me a total of 8000$ that insurance also would not cover. I went to a second doctor for second opinion consultation, and she told me I do not need any crowns at all, and my teeth are perfectly fine. She further told me if I had done the crowns, I would have destroyed my teeth and it only would have lasted me 10 years and I would had to do root canal to all of these teeth after 10 years. The consultant doctor instead prescribed me a medical toothpaste that strengthen my enamel instead. How can any doctor do this inhumane behavior to anyone? Do not recommend this doctor at all! This is only a business t

My husband and I have both had our teeth cleaned and visited the dentist for teeth whitening products! The instruction and the process for the teeth whitening was poorly explained by the intern as he was rushed and the dentist is unprofessional! Mess ups on records and with scheduling! This dentist lied to my husband about needing a cap on a tooth where he had a root canal! He got a second opinion and the other dentist said it was not necessary. Pisciotta wanted $1500! Bad dentist!!!!!
