Our family have been patients of Dr Cimlar since he took over the practice from Dr. Mauer. My daughter, who was getting married, wanted to cap a tooth. He was able to create a custom colored tooth for her over a weekend visit when she was home from college. My husband has always been nervous about going to the dentist. Dr Cimlar and out hygienist take the time to explain to him and understand his nervousness about going to the dentist. He has had crowns, fillings and regular cleanings every 6 months. I have only had regular cleanings, but glad to have Dr Cimlar always check up following my cleanings. As soon as dentists were allowed to begin taking patients after being closed because of Covid, we made appointments for cleanings. We felt very safe. They had to go to great extremes with N95 Masks and visors- pretty difficult to work with I imagine. They were pleasant and never complained. I would highly recommend this practice.

My family member who does not have Facebook went to Vergennes DDS the other week and was extremely unpleased with the care she received. Not only did she feel unsafe with the unexperienced dental assistance, but overheard them discussing personal matters during her visit. She requested to speak with someone in charge and was denied the option by a blonde, younger female. Would highly recommend re-educating staff on proper patient treatment as well as refraining from discussing personal matters in front of patients.
