Dr. David Pereira, DDS

Billing is not transparent and when questioned the office and Dr. Pereira can not explain their own accounting practices. They do estimated billing. Therefore you are never clear to actual charges. I have now learned by law they need to provide the estimate charges before services rendered instead of after you the leave their chair. They charge upfront for certain services and submit to insurance for others. They submit the same services you were charged upfront to insurance as well. You earn credit that doesn't show up on balance due statements. They roll over the credits. That credit can go to any family member. I would prefer to be paid back a credit. They don't think anything is wrong with that. They also don't explain what the credit is for. Forgot to add they create one Family Ledger and list all activity under one account. Get's messy and not normal accounting practices at all. Suspicious best.

They add on BS charges…..the excuse, your insurance doesn’t cover this act. Do not use them. I will report them to the BBB and the ADA!

Pretty bad. His office overcharged me for a procedure that had cost half as much the two times before ( to two members of our household). He never saw the patient. The technician did not complete the procedure and his office charged us double. We had been ling term patients - 2x a year cleanings/ xrays/ cavities / whitening/ coordinating with ortho. Was about to do invisalign (for 2) ... no longer. Hope the $300 was worth it. Lost a family as a client and lost a lot of good will. Good Luck !

I can't say enough kind words about Anouchka. She's a terrific hygenist we've been going to her for forever. She's especially amazing with my daughter whom is also special needs.

In all my years of life I have never felt more welcomed or comfortable becoming a patient at someone's practice as when I walked into Dr. Pereira's office. I am writing this review as a person who had worked as a dental assistant for 5 years in many prominent dental practices in NY, and have had my teeth taken care of by several top denists, none however, were as amazing as Dr. Pereira. The front office staff was so welcoming and easy to talk to. His assistant was very knowledgeable and helpful

Exceeded my expectations in every way. Great location, a five minute walk from the Darien train station. Office is immaculate and the staff is friendly and skilled. High-level service, appreciated their modern approach to dentistry. Will certainly return.

Talented dentist, so happy with the work I have had done thus far. He is truly invested in making sure his patients receive the best care. My 5 yrs old also loves visiting the office - he was gentle, patient and she subsequently is happy to go for her check-ups. Thank you!
