Dr. Daniel Klauer, DDS

This doctor does not contract with any insurance. If you are approved for Care Credit, you can pay over time. But essentially, you are paying 100% out-of-pocket. Because of this, I think it is extremely important that Dr. Klauer be hyper transparent with anyone who agrees to treatment. Every patient should leave with a printed copy of their diagnosis, a printed copy of their treatment plan, and an itemized bill for the total cost of treatment.....not just the amount of money they owe. Overall, I think Dr. Klauer is a good doctor, and I feel hopeful that my treatment plan will be effective.

Charged a very high consultation fee, when others charge nothing. This is non-refundable. They charge an exorbitant rate, more than double everyone else in the area. The orthotics were made so poorly for me that I was in much worse pain after seeing Dr. Klauer, and needed to ask for a refund. I'll be getting my TMJ orthotics elsewhere, which will be less expensive and hopefully correct. All told, I wasted over $2,000 for absolutely nothing. This was the non-refundable portion.

This doctor has taken our family on an expensive quackery ride. As a private pay office, Dr. Klauer's "diagnostics" & "treatments" are almost never covered by any insurance - this is by design. The types of diagnostics he performs (such as joint vibration analysis) as well as treatments such as prolotherapy (literally sugar water placebo injections) are *not medical standard & are questioned in the medical community,* so they would not be covered by insurance even if he did participate/contract with insurance. This office employs "care coordinators" aka really lovely looking/sounding saleswomen to explain why you will need to enroll in a bogus care plan & to kindly remind you that your very large payment is due at the time of service/they do not coordinate with insurance. This is done with high-pressure sales tactics (I have later found out from our physician that most TMJ Issues need no intervention). We trusted that our daughter needed $6500 of care; nothing further from the truth.

Being apart of the TMJ & Sleep Therapy Centre has changed my life both personally and professionally. The atmosphere here is very comforting like you are at home. I have never met a more sincere doctor or such caring staff. It is amazing to see the life changing transformation our treatment has on our patients. Dr. Klauer will treat you like you are the only patient he has and will spend as much time with you that you need.

Dr. Klauer and his team take a very unique, comprehensive approach to diagnosing their patients. He is great at connecting the dots between a variety of symptoms and finding the root cause. I HIGHLY recommend his practice!

I no longer have migraines day in and day out for months at a time. I am fortunate to be so productive now that I live without pain. I could not have done it without the help of Dr. Klauer and his staff!

Ending treatment, mixed: Very costly, but huge staff; if all needed, and with tests, maybe reasonable? Went for TMJ pain; appliance worked. Suggested help also with major sleep deprivation, didn't happen. All compassionate, personable, skilled. Having studied nutrition some, dietary suggestions seemed wrong, consulted a university nutrition prof, agreed: "The best science does not support the paleo diet." Reason people on it feel better: giving up sugar and dairy, but need whole grains, legumes.

They told us they wanted money up front and that we had to turn the claim into our insurance and the insurance company would reimburse us. There was a reason for that. Insurance would only pay a tiny portion of a very large bill. We paid the rest. My husband's jaw popped back in by itself. I wish we would of just gave it more time.

I was referred to Dr. Klauer's office because my 18 yr old daughter has a popping sound when she opens her mouth. She has no pain or problems, just the sound and we were told we should have it checked. I explained to Dr. Klauers office her situation and that I was concerned about the cost and they said the consultation is $49 and she should probably be checked. So we come in an they told us nothing. Just that they can do more tests for about $600 to see if there is a problem.

Dr. Daniel Klauer takes time to understand my symptoms and created a treatment plan for me that I could apply. By getting to the root of my problem, he has guided me to optimum health. Dr. Klauer provides more than just treatment for TMJ and Sleep, he provides hope for a better pain free life!

Dr. Klauer always takes the time to listen and makes you feel like you are the only patient he has.

You get what you pay for and if you want the best, modern and state of the art treatment then go to Doc Klauer, this Dr changed my daily life enjoyment and probably added years (good healthy years that is) to my life.... put a price tag on that... bed side manner awesome..... staff awesome..... Marine Veteran approved... and I'm sorry but in a world full of people sue happy, Do you really wonder why the great Dr.'s charge so much.....HIGHLY LIKELY TO RECOMMEND

My 20 year old daughter had an appointment while I was on vacation. I came home to a 1694.00 bill for one day! They said if she waited she wouldn't be able to eat. Angry mother

They charge an arm and a leg for any treatment! Look up healthy clean eating for any Tmj or sleep apnea issues because ultimately that's what your paying for! Thousands of dollars for being treated there and to be told you need to follow healthy clean or gluten free diet. And in addition they charged my insurance codes for surgery when there was none! Crooks. Save your money!
