Dr. Corey Carothers, DDS

Dr. Corey made my first set of beautiful dentures back in 2012. They looked like natural teeth. When I felt I needed a new set, I didn’t think about going anywhere else. The second set was subpar to the first set. While the fit was great, the teeth looked like dentures. The teeth in the top plate were mounted crooked. (not my fault — I am the patient in the chair — not the one taking measurements and markings, nor the one manufacturing the dentures.) I knew he would make it right. I was wrong. He re-lined them. They never fit comfortably or felt right again. Also, the teeth were much larger than the first set I had. Horse teeth. Ugly. If you need dentures, find a PROSTHODONTIST. I see he doesn’t offer dentures in his listing now. Good choice, doc.

Dr. Corey Carothers follows an ethical, conservative approach to treatments. I had a few small fillings done (painlessly!). My previous dentist was always pushing for more and more work – finishing one crown then recommending three additional crowns. Dr. Carothers staff is always friendly and professional even when the office is very busy. I have never felt rushed, overcharged or questioned the need for any recommended work.

Dr. Carothers has been my dentist for years. I trust his judgment and he is very gentle and caring. The staff is always willing to help with my complex scheduling needs. You don't find an office like this very often.

He scratched my gums twice really bad(they bled) during my visit and I left in serious pain and for days to follow. When I member of the staff did the follow up call and asked how I was, I told her about the discomfort I was feeling. She said I'll tell the doctor and get back with you. I never heard from them again! Oh, correction I did hear from them again, but only because my debit card had expired and they needed it updated to finish withdrawals for the payment plan. Not a good experience!
