Dr. Christopher Nielsen, DMD

We had just moved to the area and my coworker referred my family to Dr Nielsen. Dr Nielsen did not know that we would only be taking my teenage daughter here for check-ups and cleanings (she has full benefits at the native hospital). After her cleaning, he told us she had 6 cavities - but when we took her to the native hospital, she only had one. So... I became skeptical and decided to get a second opinion on the crack in my tooth which he said I needed a crown for and the $1300 worth of work he said my husband needed. We both went and got a second opinion -- there was NO crack in my tooth!! Dr Neilson had SHOWED ME A PICTURE of a tooth with a crack but it was not from MY mouth!! The second dentist did a thorough exam... I asked if he was absolutely sure multiple times.... NO CRACK. No crown needed. Then my husband's turn. The $1300 worth of work my husband needed went to $0. I imagine some of the work Dr. Neilsen does is necessary, but you won't know for sure w/o a 2nd opinion.
